Teacher Sasaki also seats down but a lot more careful than I did. He puts away the folder in front of him and puts his hands on the desk after taking off his glasses.
"You should control yourself more, Chikara-san." He says.
"It was just a mistake." I reply coldly knowing that he's talking about me losing control with the fairy girl. What he doesn't know is that Astrid didn't have control either.
"Whether it was a mistake or not it shouldn't happen."
"You think I don't know that? You think I let this happen? Look Sasaki I don't want the world being blown apart as much as you do."
Sasaki's face turns dark when hearing my words.
"This conversation is useless. I have been warned many times before so it is already deeply embedded into my mind. That's probably why I warn people many times if something happens and I can't find out who is causing it." I mumble when considering my past warnings to people I care about. Like today I warned the Carter's though they didn't need it.
I stand up and walk out the door but just as I walk out I hear Sasaki mumble.
"She never learns. Just like her Aunt."
I turn around and eye him when hearing him talk about Aunt Cora. I don't worry about it and walk out of his office and to my classroom for gym is about to commence.
Plus I'll just tell Rowan or Skylar about it so they can deal with him. That is if they aren't doing something. They hate it when someone says something bad about their parents especially to Aunt Cora though she is a bit strict on them.
School finishes quickly and we walk to a takeaway shop near the school to grab something to eat before we come out to Quantum and Quasar that Orion and I are siblings.
"We kind of guessed it." Quasar shrugs drinking his bubble tea.
"What? How?" I ask, eyes going wide in disbelieve.
"You acted really close and shared food with him which is a big no-no for you. We also remember him from the first time we met all the Myths but he had his red and green colored eyes." Quantum adds.
My mouth hangs open when hearing their reason for suspecting it. "It's not my fault he's closer."
"He's even closer than Daniel and you which is a dead giveaway." Quasar comments.
I pout and cross my arms. Orion looks away while eating a pack of pocky. Our prank only worked on Ren.
"The next tie we're doing a prank we're going to use your weakness." Orion mutters childishly under his breath.
"Let's do it on Halloween. I have the best prank in mind." I suggest forgetting about what happens on Halloween every year.
"But we have that thing." Daniel says which brings it back to mind.
"Sh*t!" I curse remembering what happens. I pout even more. "I don't want to get dressed up again."
"You have to it's Great-Grandmother Kana's 500 death anniversary." Orion says.
"Wasn't she a Queen?" Ren asks remembering her from the book he read about Renata's past Queens.
"Yes. She's Edith's mother." I confirm.
"Oh." Ren voices. He shivers when hearing Edith's name since he finds her a bit scary especially since the last time where I nearly killed her but that was very on in the year. I'm surprised that her still remembers.
"When's Kiyoshi coming back?" I ask lifting my right leg over my left leg.
Orion shrugs. "He might never come back from hiding."
Everyone doesn't respond to that because of two different reasons. 1, most of us think it might be true and 2, Ren wants to hang out with his family as a whole.
"He has to come out of hiding if Edith runs into trouble." I whisper.
The five of them whip theirs heads to face me. Surprise is all over their faces but it soon disappears when they remember who said it. They go back to eating and drinking.
After a while Quantum speaks.
"So nether of you will be back for next term?"
I look up suddenly when hearing that.
"Doesn't that mean we won't be able to eat and see each other at school?" Quasar asks.
"Or Chikara won't be sharing an apartment with Ren nor will we be getting free food by her." Quantum sulks.
Something inside me tugs when hearing the twins talk. I actually forgot about the deal today which is what I'm almost always thinking of except for when something happens. It's probably because my mind has been too wrapped up in other stuff that I forgot it.
"Yeah." I nod in confirmation of their words but to me it sounds like I'm trying to tell myself it's true. "We will go back to our old lives."
"Mhm." Orion hums in agreement with my words but I can sense him watching me.
"Next year the other Myths will choose their final life job before they study and then follow their dreams." I murmur loud enough so that only the six of us can hear.
"They already chosen what they want to be." Orion says.
"Atasi might change her dreams from an athlete to a doctor." I suggest. "She is ours."
"That's true." Orion nods.
"Won't you be focusing on Starlight, Orion?" Daniel asks remembering the entertainment company that Orion started.
"Yes. The first thing that I'd have to do is bring new models and streamers to the entertainment world." Orion gets lost into his thoughts about the ways to improve his company.
I roll my eyes when seeing his dazed eyes.
"Won't you be focusing on your 'royal duties' and Stone Corporation?" Quasar asks taking the focus off Orion.
"Um. Yeah, I think." I reply a bit surprised from the question. I never knew he was going to throw that at me. "I will probably kill Edith and change the elders into something... closer."
I pause trying to find the right words.
"Closer?" Quantum tilts his head.
"I want to make the Myths and close ones as the next elders since I trust them and they have great ideas." I explain.
"Remember we don't want to be the incubus elders." Daniel says hurriedly.
"Yeah. I know so that's why I changed it. You can just be a duke or something." I say.
