"So you burnt his hair because he said your hair feels weird and then laughed when he cried?" Ren asks tilting his head to the side after I finish telling him my first moments through my eyes.
"Yes." I nod.
"Wow! That's savage." Quantum exclaims.
"Definitely an unforgettable moment." Quasar agrees.
"Why couldn't I have done that to you?" Quantum turns to Quasar.
"You want to burn me? That's so mean!" Quasar cries.
"You're even meaner."
Daniel looks at the twins bickering with each other before turning to me. "It was an innocent diva moment not like Aria's diva moments. How's the little army going?"
"The Myths are doing well. They've been training more by Master Bai's orders though I don't know why he wants them to train." I reply ignoring his first comment because I agree. I didn't know what a diva was when I was born though I had some intelligence and Aria has had many great diva moments especially with her cousin.
"It could be that he feels something is going to happen." Daniel suggests.
"It could be. Never know what's going inside that brain of his with all that gossip."
Daniel laughs. He then stops and leans in closer. "So how about Orion?"
I look over at Orion who is watching the twins fight in amusement. "He will stay until he decides to leave or my year is up."
"Talking about me?" Orion asks turning to us.
"Yes. She always is." Daniel smirks.
"I am not." I hit Daniel's arm.
"Are too. My brother is awesome. He's a elemental dragon and vampire." Daniel mimics quietly.
I pout before smiling. "My sisters are always getting Mother and Father's attention. It's like they forget that they have a son!"
"Hey! I don't say that!" Daniel cries.
"Do too." I poke my tongue out at him.
"Do not!"
"Do."
"Not!"
"Agree to disagree."
"I don't agree."
"So you don't agree to agree to disagree?" I ask him.
"Adira!" Daniel hisses getting confused.
I stand up and make a pose. "Can't stop this girl!"
"You're shameless!"
"It's genetic." I sing. "Hey! Orion you're supposed to be on my side."
Orion shrugs. "It's genetic." He mimics in a childish voice.
I pout and sit down.
"It's genetic!" Daniel sings when seeing the two of us fight.
"Danny!"
"Adira!"
"Stop bickering."
We all stop and look at the door. We gasp and fall to the floor in shock.
"Am I really that scary?" Reiji asks looking down at himself.
"No it's just HOW DID YOU GET IN?" Quantum yells.
"I've got the key." Reiji jingles his set of keys in the air for all to see.
"He has a key?" Quantum asks shocked.
I ignore Quantum's question and ask Reiji, "What are you doing here?"
"I came to check up on Ren but instead I got a free ticket to the zoo." Reiji laughs.
"Reiji!"
"It's great to see you alright Ren!" Reiji yells while running out of the apartment.
"How can he run so fast?" Quasar asks chasing after him. He got offended like we all did.
"He gets chased a lot back at Mura Castle from the wolves from calling them puppies." I reply. "Not to mention Aria runs after him a lot when he insults her baking."
"I wonder where he learnt his words from?" Daniel says looking at me.
I shrug while running. "It's not my fault. I don't call the wolves puppies. And why are we running down the stairs?" I ask.
Daniel stops causing me to collide into him.
"Ah!" The Tanaru twins yell in surprise. They collide into us causing us to fall down the staircase.
"Why did you stop?" I ask loudly from underneath the Tanaru twins.
"You asked 'why were we running down the stairs' so I stopped." Daniel replies.
"Oh my gosh! Whose legs are these?" Quantum screams and pushes the pair of legs away.
"They're mine." I say when feeling them move.
"Huh!" Quantum and Quasar look down at me then back to my legs which are in a weird position. "How'd you do that?"
"She's extremely flexible." A voice comes from upstairs.
"What are you doing standing there?" Daniel asks. "Hurry up and help us out of this tangle."
Orion shrugs and pulls the Tanaru twins off me before pulling me to my feet. Daniel stands up and smooths his shirt out.
"I think Reiji got away." Orion says innocently.
"No sh*t." Daniel curses.
"Don't curse at him." I defend Orion. "He only pointed it out. It's not like he chased Reiji like a pack of hyenas."
"Aren't you also a hyena since you chased him too?" Orion asks.
"Orion! You're supposed to be on my side." I huff and turn away from him. "I'm hungry let's go back." I say and begin to walk up the eight flights of stairs.
We go back upstairs and sit down at the table. Ren is already eating once we came in.
"You shouldn't get up." Daniel says to Ren while eating some rice.
"But cooking is simple." Ren replies.
"Your leg needs rest anyone can tell you that, right?" Daniel asks us.
"Yup. He's right." We all agree.
I smile. "Take out."
"No. That's too unhealthy especially to your training." Orion shakes his head.
"I don't put any weight on so I can eat all I want."
"That's still out of the question. You should cook more healthy food."
"I do. I love vegetables. I can still eat as much as I want and still be in the best condition."
"Agree or I'll ring Aunt Imogen and Aunt Cora." Orion threatens.
I gasp and place my hand over my heart. "How dare you Orion. You're trying to make me a vegetarian."
"I'm not." Orion shakes his head hurriedly.
"You are." I dramatically place my hand over my head. "You're trying to make me a pigeon and not a hawk."
"Eh?" Quantum, Quasar and Ren are confused.
Daniel facepalms himself when hearing that sentence. "For the last time you are not a hawk but a phoenix. A phoenix, Adira!"
I shrug. "Same thing."
"It's not." Daniel cries. "And anyway you're supposed to be vegetarian."
As Daniel and Orion try to tell me that I'm supposed to be vegetarian and not like meat (as if I'd give up my delicious and tender meat) Ren says something shocking.
"We're out of meat."
"What?" I turn to him.
"I used the last of the meat in the dish." He says pointing to the meat on the plates.
I gasp.
"Stop being so dramatic." Daniel says having enough of my exaggerated movements.
"Yeah. You've been doing this all day. What's gotten into you?" Orion asks.
I roll my eyes and stop the act. "Ren are you sure that we don't have any meat left?"
Ren nods. "Positive."
I smile widely. "Since you didn't like my act you can go. Bye bye." I push the four of them out the apartment while getting my shoes.
"Adi!" Orion cries. He puts on a sad face.
"I'm going shopping since the supply won't come until next week." I say and grab my bag.
This is the second time I'm going shopping for meat. I always have a supply from one of my cousins who is a farmer who gives me the meat for free as long as I advertise his business in Stone Corporation the food section. And I did for I am a sucker for food.
That and meat from the supermarket doesn't taste as delicious as my cousins meat. I'd rather buy meat at the fresh food market.
