As Yuu said before he went back to Osaka for his volleyball training.
I would hang out with Yuu when he was free and we'd have a meal before he has to go back to Osaka. I spent time with Shizen volleyball team and helped to train them.
Nicholas was pissed that I went to Mura Castle without him but he soon got over it. Reiji had fights with Nicholas' butler for rights in the kitchen which he had to beat the butler but he eventually got to cook.
And in a blur a month quickly passed by. No one can grasp how quick this year is going but all of the supernatural races even the supernaturals that don't know Renata exists know that something big is going to happen.
The humans only think that the year is going fast because of the world changing cough cough global warming.
I look ay myself in the mirror on the bathroom's wall. I touch my chin which has sharpened so that I don't look as childish as I did at the start of the year. Finally my face is changing into a woman. It took forever.
I look at my wet black hair which falls at my mid-back. Although I did have a small grow spurt at the start of the year pushing my height to 4 feet and 11 inches tall, I didn't have another one.
I poke my breasts with a pout. They haven't grown either just like my butt didn't. I turn to my side and nod with satisfaction.
"My *ss still looks good though." I can't help but say in admiration.
"Chikara! Hurry up. I need to pee!" Ren shouts and bangs on the door.
"In a minute."
"You said that fifteen minutes ago."
"Fine." I say and open the door.
Ren rushes past me and gives me a shove before slamming the door shut. I walk to my room to get a hairband when remembering something.
"HEY! You could've used your toilet in your bathroom!" I shout at Ren and kick the door.
"It's clogged." Ren shouts back.
"You should've unclogged it." I huff and go to my bedroom to tie my hair up. I go back down the stairs and start to make breakfast. I quickly make Italian frittata with meats and vegetables. An Italian frittata is like an omelet but with more ingredients.
After putting the frittata in the frypan, I get out a huge chunk of pig leg from the bottom of the freezer. I chop it up and put some on Asra's plate. I put her plate on the food for her and put the rest of the pork back in the freezer to keep for later.
"Hurry up Ren! We're going to be late if we're walking!" I shout to hurry Ren up. I look at the calendar on the fridge. There is only a week before July 20th which is the last day of the second term.
In a few days my older brother will come to Japan to have a volleyball match. I am looking forward to it since we haven't seen each other since Lorenzo had a seizure.
"I'm here." Ren says and takes a seat at the dining table.
I quickly give him a slice of the frittata before putting the fry pan into the sink. I rinse it before turning the water off and eating my food.
"Mm." I moan. At least food is always here. Delicious food that is. Aish, I'm such a great cook. "Remember to get your homework. Epstein won't let you off for the second time."
"Sure." Ren nods and quickly wolf's down his food. He gets up and starts to fill his school bag with books.
"Do you have to take the Renata artifacts book with you?" I ask when seeing the familiar cover.
Ren nods. "I want to read it during lunch."
"Okay. Remember not to lose it." I say and finish my last mouthful of food. I put my plate in the sink and go to the door. I put my shoes on and put my school bag over my shoulder. "Let's go Ren!"
"Coming." Ren puts his shoes on clumsily.
"Did you get you homework from your room?" I ask.
"Oh shoot!" Ren curses and takes his shoes off. He runs up the stairs and into his room.
I shake my head and look at the clock on the wall. "Is this how being a mother feels? Poor Aunts and Uncles."
"Got it." Ren says and puts his shoes on again.
I open the door and rush to the elevator. The door shuts after Ren steps in.
"How late are we?" He asks.
"Three minutes. Aish! Epstein is going to kill us."
"Sorry." Ren apologizes.
"I should've woken up earlier. Damn Li-Wei for ringing last night."
The elevator opens and we rush out causing the staff and other residents in the building to look at us. We run to the side walk and quickly cross the street.
"Ren watch out!" I yell when seeing a white car come out of no where.
The car is heading straight at Ren. Before the white car can hit Ren I launch myself at him and we roll to the pavement on the other side. A black car stops beside us.
"Are you alright?" A familiar voice asks.
I look up to see Nicholas. "Give us a lift."
"Hop in."
Ren and I quickly get into the car which Reiji is also in.
"Why are you chasing the white car?" I can't help but ask.
"Thief." Reiji replies while Nicholas continues to chase after the white car.
"Oh." Ren and I sound and pull out our homework to check it.
"..." Nicholas and Reiji are dumbfounded that Ren and I are checking our homework while in a chase. But even though they do have complaints such as, 'why didn't these two do this at home' they don't voice it.
The two keep their attention on the white car in front.
