I immediately take a bath to wash my hair of the blood which has started to harden. After my shower bath I walk to the kitchen and put the kettle on for noodles.
"Hey, Chikara have you seen my video game?" Ren comes out of the games room.
"Which one?" I ask. The kettle finishes boiling so I pour water in the noodle cup.
"The zombie apocalypse one." Ren answers.
"In the cupboard underneath the TV." I cover my noodles and set my chopsticks on it since that's the only cutlery I could find.
Ren goes back into the games room and I follow to see that he doesn't even play the zombie apocalypse but puts it into the drawer in the corner which holds the rest of his games. He instead plays darts.
"Flick your wrist more and aim a bit higher." I give him tips after he missed the first one.
Ren throws the dart and it hits green circle around the red dot.
"Aw, still missed." I say, slurping the noodles which I can tell annoys Ren.
"If you're so good you do it." Ren puts the last dart next on the pool table.
I shrug my shoulders and pick up the dart using my chop sticks. I aim and throw. The dart hits the middle perfectly.
"I'm really good." I smile at Ren. I clean my chopsticks on my shirt and go back to eating my noodles.
"Argh!" Ren groans, knowing that he can't ever beat me since I'm too good at everything.
"Wait until Kiyoshi comes and then he'll train you in Renata. Hopefully you'll become good enough to not get your ass kicked." I smile sweetly at him. Ren frowns. "Nicholas is great at archery so if you want to improve your aim go to him. He's a lot nicer too."
"Okay." Ren nods. He looks at his phone which just beeped. "Eek!" He squeals.
I get startled and fall forward on the pool table. I make my cup of noodles float and my body stops just millimeters before it touches the floor. I float back onto the pool table and grab my cup of noodles, angrily.
"What did the noodles ever do to you?" I ask Ren.
"Eh?" Ren looks at me confused.
"Why you have to punish me by nearly dropping my noodles!" I whine. I kick my legs as I've seen Kala and Kailey do many times when they're wronged.
"Oh. Sorry." Ren bows.
"Fortunately I was quick and saved the noodles or else you'll be hanging on the Eiffel Tower." I say, eating my noodles again but this time with a quicker pace so that if Ren pretends to be a piglet again there's less noodles to waste. Or I could just go back in time and save my noodles. Mhm. choices "Why were you squealing?"
"Oh. Yuu Yachi is playing a practice match in Osaka tomorrow." Ren shows me Osaka High (or Osaka Rich High as I like to call it) volleyball schedule.
"So?" I ask.
"So I have to go."
"Huh?" I'm confused.
"I'm going to that match. To see my idol but also to get tips." Ren says.
"Good idea. To defeat your enemy you have to know your enemy." I clap my thigh to applaud him.
"I know. I get to see my idol." Ren fanboys.
"You're even worse than Anastasia and Alexa over cartoons." I shake my head and walk out of the room to leave Ren to fanboy.
"You've never fangirled before." Lion appears and says.
"Yes I have."
"Who?"
"Oreo." I answer. "He's the most cutest, cleverest, handsomest and smartest." I start copying Ren's tone when he talked about that volleyball person.
"That doesn't count." Lion huffs and crosses her arms.
"It does. I idolize him." I smile and walk up the stairs.
"But most girls like their idol." Lion says.
"Do you have an idol? Do you perhaps like your idol?" I interrogate her.
"No." Lion denies but her shine turns pink in embarrassment.
"Oh. Who is it?" I ask.
"No one." Lion shakes her head and refuses to answer.
"Is it Peter Pan?" I ask her.
"No." she hurriedly denies.
"It it. Hahaha. You like a fictional character." I laugh. "See you idol Peter Pan and I idol my brother, Oreo. Of course not your kind of idolize. My idolize to Oreo is pure unlike yours."
Lion huffs and goes back into my ring. She doesn't want to fight with me since she knows I'll win. Hehe.
I finish my noodles and lay on my bed. I grab my phone and look up our school page to see what's happening.
"The hell?" I sit up after a minute of browsing. "Ren!" I call. I walk out of my room and down the stairs in a hurry.
"What's wrong? What did I do?" Ren asks, looking around for an escape room.
"Nothing. Why? Did you do something?" I ask him.
"No. What did you want to say?"
"You signed up for the volleyball club a whole month after the national high school volleyball started." I say.
"Yeah." Ren nods.
"Why?"
"What do you mean?" Ren asks.
"Why did you sign up a month after the tournament started?" I ask.
"Oh. Well I only signed up to learn. I might compete next year but this year I'll focus on improving." Ren replies.
"You're basically a bench warmer." I tell him. "And you've played volleyball before?"
"Yeah. I joined the volleyball team at the beginning of junior high but quit when I got a job at the Boss' bar. I don't mind being a bench warmer. As long as I get to learn." Ren shrugs not caring.
I sigh. "Well it's not my place to say anything except follow your dreams as the Myth's always say to me."
I walk back to my room (after getting a slice of chocolate cake from the fridge) and sit on my bed. I call Saisho and Reiji.
"If one of us signed up as a bench warmer for a sport, what would you do?" I ask.
"Eh?" Saisho was not suspecting this question.
"I'll support you if that's what you choose." Reiji says.
"So what should I do?" I flick Lion away from my chocolate cake.
"Like Reiji said support. Exactly like what Aria and Killian are in a fight, supporters. Not that I'm hating them or thinking low of them." Saisho hurriedly says.
"Yeah, yeah we know. Atasi is a secrete. Aria and Killian are supporters. Lance and Orion are front line. You are a shadow.*" I say getting that he's not dissing them.
"Just support Ren, Missy." Reiji says.
"How'd you know?" I ask him.
"Nicholas talked to the manager of the volleyball club." He answers.
"Dammit." I curse.
"Wait this is for Kitamura's son?" Saisho asks, surprised.
"Yeah. He joined the volleyball team a month after national high school volleyball tournament started." I answer.
"I support Reiji's decisions." Saisho says.
"Okay. So I shouldn't assume that he has something wrong with his brain and not ask?"
"You should definitely not ask."
"You should definitely ask."
They both say at the same time.
"Should I ask or not?" I ask.
"Shouldn't." Reiji answers first.
"Should. It'll be more exciting." Saisho answers, excitedly.
"I'll listen to Reiji. Sorry Saisho." I apologize.
"No worries. I'll just go to annoy Shiro then." Saisho laughs, maniacally. He then hangs up afterwards.
"Go to bed. Night Little Missy." Reiji bids.
"Night." I bid back.
He hangs up and I finish my chocolate cake I teleport the plate to the kitchen sink and switch the lights off.
"Night." I say to my ring and Asra on the end of my bed.
Asra softly howls and the black ring doesn't do anything since Lion is ignoring me.
*Secrete fight behind everyone. (Atasi)
Supporters are behind the front line. (Aria and Killian)
Front Line are the strengths. (Orion and Lance)
Shadows are the first to start and mainly is quick and sneaky. (Main one; me. My supporting shadows; Reiji and Saisho)
My wolf brothers are all front line fighters since they don't like hiding (it hurts their alpha pride).
