My blindness just finished so I teleport to an enclosed room with blood spattered across the room. The door opens and Ivan stands there.
"Have you killed him yet?" I ask, walking out of the room.
"No." Ivan answers.
"Good." I walk into an room identical to the first one but this time there's a chair with a person in it. The person head hangs low due to being tortured. I walk to the person and tilt his head up. "Are you still going to be stubborn, Chandler?" I ask coldly.
"Like I said to them I did it on my own without any orders." Chandler says.
I smirk. "But your right hand man says otherwise."
Chandler's eyes flicker when hearing right hand man. "Takeshi wouldn't sell me out."
"Oh but he did since he values his family more." I smile innocently at him.
"You!" Chandler growls.
"Tell me what did Bethany offer you?" I ask. Ivan returns in the room with a clean chair. "Thank you."
"She offered me nothing." Chandler still refuses to tell.
"Idan." I say.
Idan walks into the room with a needle. He smirks when seeing Chandler struggle to get out of the chair. "It feels like a pinch." Idan smirks injecting the needle into Chandler.
Chandler screams in agony with just a drop of what it's in the needle.
"Now tell us what did Bethany offer you?" I ask again.
"She offered that I'll get a position on the supernatural board." He cries out.
"She can't do that. She's only a dog that hasn't got any connection with the supernatural board whatsoever. You are really stupid for believing her." I laugh. "Kill him." I command coldly. I stand up and walk out of the room.
"With pleasure." Idan smirks and injects the rest of the liquid into Chandler veins.
Even with the sound proof Chandler's scream is heard throughout the hall. I ignore it and walk to the end of hall and open the door to be flooded in light.
"How was it? Did it succeed?" Atasi asks calmly.
"Worked like a pro." I smile at her. "You're really are one of a kind, Si."
Atasi nods.
"Who would've thought that hell fire in a liquid is deadly?" Idan walks through the door behind me.
"Si did, that's who." Ivan walks out from behind Idan.
"It's great. In just a few seconds his body was burnt inside out." Idan smiles.
"If Aunt Imogen saw you with that creepy smile she'll hit you with the spoon." I tell him.
"Mama would have to hit Papi too then." Ivan smirks, preparing to throw Austin under the bus.
"She won't catch me." Austin appears through another door.
"She will when you come back. You'll be sleeping in the dog house" Idan laughs imagining his father sleeping outside in the cold.
Austin looks like he's not scared but his legs shaking says otherwise.
"If Aunt Imogen doesn't catch you, Aunt Lumi sure will." I comment.
Austin really starts to look scared. "Not Big Sister Lumi!" He whines.
We all smile.
"Okay I have to go. Lunch is almost ready." I say looking at my watch.
"Bye." The father and son trio says.
"We'll try to convince Edith to let you visit when it's half-way." Atasi whispers, hugging me.
I smile. "Sure." We both pull out of the hug since we're not big huggers. "Bye." I say before I teleport back to the apartment. "What the f*ck are you doing here?" I ask.
"Attitude, Adira." Daniel scolds.
"What the f*ck are you doing here, Daniel? There better?"
"No it's not and will you two stop laughing?" Daniel starts scolding Quantum and Quasar.
"Sorry." They apologize.
"Why are you here?" I ask not cursing.
"To check up on you. I heard that you just finished throwing up." Daniel answers.
"Ren." I growl. Ren throws his hands up in the air and shakes his head. "Snitches get stitches."
"Hey. Can't Ren take his cast off today?" Quasar asks, looking down at Ren's thigh.
"Yes. Nicho will come later." I nod and start eating lunch.
"Can't you wait until we all have our food?" Quantum asks grabbing his food.
"No." I poke my tongue at him.
"Next week we have to go to school." Quasar says reminding us.
"Urgh!" We groan not wanting to.
"Should I apply for a sports club?" Ren asks.
"Go for it." Daniel gives him a thumbs up.
"Daniel." I say when recalling something. I smile sweetly.
"What?" Daniel asks, feeling something's weird with me smiling.
"Don't you have to go back to Renata for the annual training every 10 years?" I ask, smiling even more widely.
Daniel frowns. "Sh*t I totally forgot."
"Isn't it tomorrow?"
"Yes." Daniel nods.
"You should take Ren with you. You know, to get a feel of elder training." I suggest.
Daniel looks at me before looking at Ren.
"Can I?" Ren asks. He looks at Daniel in expectation.
Daniel glares at me.
I shrug my shoulders. "Ren's always saying that he wants to be stronger. The elders can teach him the basics. It'll be such a good opportunity for him to learn with his friend."
"Good opportunity for you to have the house to yourself." Daniel mutters. "Okay. Ren you're coming with me to Renata for training."
"Why does he have to train?" Quantum asks.
"It's a rule for everyone that's been taught by the elders but the time can change. Vampires, wolves and witches get every 10 years. Angels and Demons 20. Foxes and Fairies 30. Griffin and Centaur 40 and for anyone from the animal kingdom it's 5 years." I explain
"What about yours? When do you do yours?" Quasar asks.
"Dragons, Pegasus, Mer-people and Phoenix's are 60. But I'm just going by what races the elders have taught." I shrug my shoulders and finish my food.
"Animal kingdom?" Ren is confused. "What is that?"
"It's exactly like werewolves with only slight differences. They can shift into their respected animals and into human form but they will at least have one trait from their animal. Like ears or a tail." Daniel explains.
"The animals from animal kingdom are born an animal while wolves were born human. Animal kingdom is the animal whereas wolves later develop their wolves when they're at least 10. But it can be younger or older." I point out the differences between them.
"Adira's youngest brother, Braxton was an eagle which is from the animal kingdom but he was in his human form when he was born. So they counted him as an eagle not an animal kingdom." Daniel adds.
I nod. "Yes but Braxton did have grey hair when he was born which later turned brown."
We all chat for a few hours until Daniel had to go home to pack since the training will last a week. He'll be back before it's time for us to return to school. After Daniel left Ren also went to go pack leaving me and the twins alone in the kitchen. Soon after the twins were called back to their houses since their mother came back home.
I go to my room and lay down after saying goodbye to Ren since I know I won't see him tomorrow. Daniel wakes up really early.
