Chapter 101 - chapter 101. It's back

I roll onto my side when something pokes me.

[Astrid] Something says in my head.

[What?] Astrid asks the voice.

[You're at the bottom of the ocean] Lion appears next to Astrid's bed.

Astrid sits up and looks out. [Adira wake up!]

I open my eyes and sit up. 'What?' I ask her annoyed that she woke me up.

[It's late] She says before falling back to sleep.

'So you can sleep but not me?'

[Yes]

'B*tch'

[I get that from you]

Lion shakes her head at us before disappearing but she reappears in front of me in a protective bubble so that she doesn't get wet. Her bubble starts floating up and I follow her.

"Wow! It's late." I gasp looking at the night sky. I can see a few stars but not many because of Nagoya's lights.

"It's past 3 am." Lion says floating above the waves.

"Really?" I look down at my fingers to see that they've gone all wrinkly. I grimace and start to float out of the ocean. "Let's go get something to eat." I start to float towards the port.

"Asra is missing you." Lion says reminding me of the events that happened today.

"Fine." I say but I disappear and reappear with lasagna. "Damn! France has the most delicious lasagna." I moan taking a bite.

I teleport with Lion back to the apartment were Asra is nowhere to be found. I look over at Lion.

Lion shrugs her shoulders. "She was missing you." She says uncertain how I'd react to this.

I bounce up the stairs and check my room but she isn't there. I look over at Lion who shrugs in confusion. I look into the middle room. Nothing. There's only one place she can be in. Lion and I look over at Ren's door like it's an alien portal.

"You go." I whisper pushing her lightly with my index finger.

"You go. It's your animal." Lion hisses, whizzing behind me.

"But I don't want to go!" I whine quietly.

"I don't want to either. Go." Lion tries to push me but nothing happens except yellow dust getting on the floor and on my clothes.

"You were the one who said she missed me."

"She did."

"Go!"

"No."

"Go."

"No. You go."

"No. You're my pixie. Go!"

"That's not fair! Asra's your wolf."

"You were the one to find her mother. Go!"

"That was years ago."

"You're so petty."

"How dare you! I'm a pixie. I'm supposed to be petty and small."

The two of us get into a hushed argument until I knock on Ren's door and teleport into my room leaving Lion outside by a barrier. I peep out of the crack in my door.

"Damn you Adi!" Lion curses but she smiles once Ren opens the door.

"You are?" Ren asks forgetting who Lion is.

"Ocean's sister." Lion says sweetly but inside she's furious. How can he forget who I am? I'm obviously one in a million and better looking than Ocean. Not to mention I've saved him once. Humph!

"Oh! The other one Chikara has." Ren nods finally remembering.

Lion forces a smile on her tiny face. "Yes. Is Asra in there with you?" Lion gets straight to the point.

"Yes." Ren opens the door wider to Asra hogging his bed. "I can't get her out."

"Why are you up so late?" Lion asks noticing the tired look on Ren's face.

"I was doing the exam the school sent me through email. Chikara should've gotten one too."

Sh*t! I spin around and look at my laptop. Sure enough the school sent me an exam 6 hours ago. Meh it's due tomorrow.

Lion returns without Asra the lazy and plops down on my bed which doesn't even make a dent in the blanket.

"You're so heavy." I tell her which surrounds her in yellow light. Taking the opportunity I grab her and put her on the tiny bed on my desk.

"Hey!" Lion says, the yellow light dimming. She huffs and covers herself in the blanket.

I pull the 'what you gonna do about it' face but lay down and start going through a book. I put my earplugs in and plug them into my phone. I press play and immerse myself in my book.

The next morning,

It's 5:30 am when I wake up and I panic.

My body is numb. I can't feel a thing nor can I move anything. After what seemed like forever I gather up enough strength to roll onto my side but no sooner as I did, I throw up.

"Dammit." I weakly curse when the black blood covers my bed. I feel disgusted and can taste the metallic taste in my mouth. I feel some of the blood escape my mouth and slowly drizzle down my chin. "Ew!" I groan. My face contorting in disgust.

The door opens and Asra walks in. She must've smelt the blood. She takes one look at me before turning back around and disappearing.

'Traitor! Weakling!' I curse her inside my head because I'm way too weak to speak.

"Can't you let me go?" Commotion happens outside on the staircase but I can't see. A warning growl fills the air and Ren shuts up.

Asra comes back into the room but this time she has Ren's shirt and is literally dragging him. If I has enough energy I would laugh at his misfortune but unfortunately I don't. Lucky.

"What happened?" Ren asks seeing the blood. His face goes green looking like he's about to throw up but Asra growls and he shivers clearly intimidated by her. Asra nudges him into my room and comes to sit beside my bed. "Okay, okay." Ren puts his hands up finally knowing what Asra wants.

I breathe in deeply but I shouldn't because all that fills my lungs is the smell of blood. Let me tell you it isn't the best smell.

Ren sits me up avoiding touching the black blood for some weird reason. He looks over at Asra for what to do next and to respond Asra glances at my phone on my desk. Ren picks it up.

"Password?" He asks powering on my phone.

"12252" I answer.

"Who should I call? Who's Sweet Bunny?" Ren starts going through my contacts curious of the nick names I gave everyone.

"KiKi." I reply, sighing deeply when Ren doesn't listen but keeps going through my contacts. Asra growls at him to get his attention and he immediately calls Killian.

"Hello?" Ren says but it comes out more as a question.

"'Ello. Who's this?" Killian asks in English and British accent.

Ren tilts his head confused. I see Asra rolls her eyes which I thought animals couldn't do. You learn new things everyday. Asra growls and Killian knows who's talking.

"Why do you have Adi's phone? Is something wrong?" He asks.

"Yes. She's vomiting black blood." Ren answers.

"Really? That isn't supposed to happen for three weeks." Killian mutters in deep thought.

"What do I do?" Ren asks. "She's weak and can barely move."

"Who are you talking to?" A girl asks.

"Ren." Killian answers her.

"Is that the guy Adi's staying with?"

"Yes. Hey! Give it back!" Killian yells.

"Shut it." The girl snaps at him. "Why do you have Adi's phone? I tell you if you do anything-"

"She's vomiting black blood." Ren says cutting her off but for a good cause if he doesn't have one he'd be dead. I threw up again but this time some got on Ren.

"Oh." The girl says.

"Who are you? Have I met you before?" Ren asks finding the voice familiar.

"Oh yes, darling. We met when we got the cars back. I'm Aria but everyone calls me Ari. I'm the one with the teal hair and was wearing a dress." Aria says.

"Oh. Do you know what I should do?" Ren asks her.

"Put Adi in the shower and after a while she should be strong enough to stand up and walk around but if that doesn't work find someone called Dumplings in her contacts." Aria answers perfectly like she's explained this dozens of times.

"Who's Dumplings?" Ren asks finding it weird that most of my contacts have something to do with food or animals.

"It should be her royal guard Reiji but Nicholas could pick up. When you call them just say Amara and they'll know you talked with me and heard the basics." Aria says. She sits down on one of the large L shaped couches in Mura Castle sitting room where many people are hearing their conversations. "I got to go. My younger sister got her head stuck in the railing again. Send Adi my love." Aria hangs up.

"Should I call your royal guard?" Ren asks.

I shake my head since I don't want to bother him because he might be busy and he'll overreact.
