When I get there it's only a few minutes until class starts. I pass through the gates without any teachers pulling me up.
I walk into class just as Teacher Ito walks in. I go to my seat and bow to him like the others before sitting down. Class starts and I begin to take notes. When the 40 minutes is over we bow to Teacher Ito before starting the 10 minutes break.
I pull the bottle of black liquid out and take a mouthful before eating a chocolate biscuit from the sweets shop.
"What is that?" Ren asks curious of the black liquid.
"Disgusting medicine" I answer.
"Adira look what I have brought you" Daniel's voice sounds from the door. He walks into class and places a bottle of red liquid on my desk.
"There is no way I'm taking that. Nah-ah" I say while shaking head.
"But mom made it for you" Daniel whines.
"Well I'm not taking it. That's even more disgusting then the black one" I say pushing the red liquid away.
"What am I going to say to mom?" Daniel whines.
"Eat it yourself and tell her that I ate it" I suggest.
"Good idea" Daniel says while opening the bottle of the red liquid and drinking it.
'Vampires' I say inwardly with disgust.
'I think you would find it's just Daniel being Daniel' Astrid says back.
"Is the time-of-the-month that painful?" Ren asks.
"Yamashita-kun have you ever gotten it?" Daniel asks him.
"No" Ren answers.
"Then you don't know how it feels like" Daniel says.
"How do you know when it's Chikara's time-of-the-month?" Quasar asks sitting down in a nearby desk.
"We grew up together so I naturally know" Daniel says proudly.
"It's not something to be proud of" I flick his nose which is high in the air.
"So you 2 know each other that much?" Quasar says.
"Yup we're practically siblings" Daniel says.
"For once I can't find anything wrong with what you just said" I say with a small smile.
Daniel leans towards me. "Did you know you look creepy when you smile" Daniel says with a goofy smile plastered on his face.
"Did you know you look weird when you aren't hunting rabbits in the wild" I say back. Daniel sits back in the chair. I send a winning smile his way.
The 10 minute break passes and the Q twins and Daniel go back to their class. The 2nd class is PE. I change into my PE clothes which is a black and white track suit for winter. I tie my hair into a high ponytail while walking to the field where the PE teacher is.
The PE teacher is a male and is Japanese. He has dark brown hair which is almost black. Has tanned skin and is bulky. He is easily 6'5 feet tall and slim.
"This lesson will be a joined class" The PE teacher says in a deep voice.
"Argh" the class groans when hearing joined class.
"What's wrong with joined classes?" I ask Ren quietly but everyone hears.
"Are you new here?" the PE teacher asks.
"I've transferred here 2 weeks ago Sir" I answer him.
"Why haven't I seen you before?" the PE teacher asks with suspicion.
"I don't know probably because I'm really small" I answer.
"You are really small" The PE teacher agrees looking at my loose track suit. "What's your name?" he asks.
"Adira Blackwell Sir but most people call me Chikara" I answer.
"Why do they call you Chikara?" The PE teacher asks.
"It's my middle name. All the teachers call me Chikara-san because Blackwell is english" I answer.
"Okay well Chikara-san you can't run in the tracksuit your wearing. You'll sit out this time" The PE teacher says.
"Okay Sir" I say while walking to the benches. When my back faces the teacher I smile brightly. I didn't want to do PE incase I accidently catch the PE teachers attention by something I did. I sit down on the benches and turn to look at my class. I see Ren running over to the benches after talking to the teacher. "What are you doing?" I ask him.
"I got out of PE" Ren answers while sitting next to me.
"How'd you do that?" I ask curious because the teacher doesn't look like a push-over.
"I argued with Teacher Hayashi" Ren answers.
"About what?"
"About how it's unfair that you get to sit out of PE just because you can't fit your tracksuit" Ren answer.
"It's not my fault" I grumpily say while turning my head away from him.
"Of course it's not but it worked" Ren says.
"Why did you get out of PE?" I ask him not bothering to face him.
"So you wouldn't get bored" Ren answers.
"Why would I get bored?"
"Sitting by yourself"
"I'm fine sitting by myself"
"No one is fine sitting by theirselves"
"How do you know?" I ask him while raising an eyebrow.
"Most people here has heard a rumor that I work in a gang" Ren answer.
"But you do work in a gang" I remind him.
"Yes. People are afraid of me" Ren says.
"People are afraid of you?" I ask in disbelieve.
"Yes"
"Hahahaha" I burst out laughing. "Scared of you Yamashita Ren. My god that's the funniest thing I've ever heard" I say laughing.
"Why is it funny?" Ren asks getting angry.
"Compared to the people I've met your nothing but a big old teddy bear" I say to him still laughing.
"Why am I a teddy bear?" Ren raises his voice.
"Because you would be easily beaten" I tell him. I stop laughing and clutch my stomach.
"I'm a great fighter" Ren disagrees. I cover my hand over my mouth. "Just because you can fight doesn't mean your the best" Ren says thinking I'm smiling behind my hand.
"g..t ..e ..t..i..g" I say weakly.
"What?!" Ren says loudly thinking I said something.
"..e. m... ..o...n..." My face pales and I feel like I'm about to throw up.
"What did you say!" Ren speaks. "What's wrong with you?" Ren asks noticing my pale face.
I run over to the water bubblers attached to the closest building which is a few meter away. When I get their I throw up pitch black blood. I fall to my knees after throwing up.
"What wron-..." Ren stops talking when he sees the black blood in the water bubblers. He turns the tap on and the black blood goes down the drain. "Well luckily this water bubbler is used for cleaning" He jokes. He doesn't ask any questions about the black blood as we're in school.
I slowly get up from the ground and rinse my mouth with the water. Although it's used for cleaning it's still good water. I walk back to the benches where I see the other classes have arrived. I spot Daniel, Quantum and Quasar talking at the back of the class with girls fangirling over them.
Ren sits beside me. I open the bottle of black liquid and take a mouthful not forgetting to grimace at the taste.
"So I get that it's not that time-of-the-month" he says under his breath. I send a death glare his way
