Caroline left the mall and entered the taxi. She was wearing a baseball cap over her head in addition to the wide sunglass covering her eyes.
She handed the piece of paper containing the address to the taxi driver. The driver started the engine and left the mall's perimeter going to the main highway.
Twenty minutes later.
The taxicab entered the street where a drive-thru motel called ~ The Breeze was located. The vehicle entered one of the rolling steel door guided by the hotel boy. Inside the room, Caroline handed her fare to the driver. "Keep the change," she said.
The driver smiled brightly, feeling grateful. "Thank you, Ma'am!" he said.
Caroline exited the taxi, the rolling steel door opened, and the vehicle left the room. Caroline went to the closed door and knocked on it five times.
The door was opened by Mike. "Wow! You're finally here! I can't believe it! Come inside!" he said, his eyes gleaming with unconcealed desire.
