Catherine went back to the living room, wearing a troubled look on her face.
John looked at her wife. "What's with your expression? Why do you look mad?" he inquired.
Catherine lowered herself on the couch beside her husband. "I'm angry at my sister for being so stupid! She kept making a bad decision in her life! And what I hate the most about her is that she won't listen to reasons and my advice!" she said, her nostrils flaring.
John sighed and rubbed his wife's back. "Calm down. Don't mind Caroline so much. She's already an adult who knows what she wants for her life. She's mature enough to decide what's best for her," he said.
Catherine pouted. "Grrrr! My blood is boiling right now. I hate my sister for ruining her married life. I pitied the children so much! They're so young, and yet my sister will abandon them easily just like that without thinking about their future," she continues her grumbling.
