The family gathering was a huge success. Caroline and Mike went home that night in good spirits, they were able to portray to anyone that they are on the path of reconciliation and were working hard to restore their old affection for each other as a couple. They were projecting that to their family effectively and everyone was rooting for the restoration of their love and trust for each other.
After settling the babies in their crib and changing their diapers, Caroline was ready to sleep, while Mike was outside in the pool area.
Caroline lies in bed and closed her eyes feeling tired and sleepy.
A few minutes later she had already fallen asleep.
Meanwhile in the pool area. Mike was looking at the city's skyline with a smile on his lips recalling the events that transpired earlier in his mother's mansion. Everything went well, he and his wife were able to project a united front laughing and talking to each other just like before.
