Alex's car was now entering the city proper.
Fifteen minutes later, he parked his car in front of a convenience store which was located fifteen minutes away from the Blue Bell Residences. Several taxicabs were lining up waiting for passengers in the corner.
Alex released a deep gloomy sigh. He looked at Caroline, misty-eyed. "Please...don't block my phone number, sweetheart, I begged you. I promised you, I won't call you every day. I just want to hear your voice from time to time. You don't have to answer my call, you don't have to tell me anything, I just want to hear your voice...okay?"
Caroline sighed. "Alright, as long as you don't bombard me with your calls and text messages. I will allow you to hear my voice..." she said. She replaced Alex's name on her phone with a woman's name just in case her husband will look into her phone.
