Caroline woke up early and prepared breakfast for two. This is the only way she can repay Alex's hospitality and generosity.
After finishing cooking, she set the table and waited for him to wake up.
She didn't wait for long...
He entered the kitchen wearing a bright smile on his lips. "Good morning, sweetheart," he greeted her.
Caroline smiled and returned his greetings. "Good morning Alex! Take your seat so that we can eat our breakfast," she said.
"Yes, sweetheart," he replied, teasing her. He lowered himself on the chair across her. He picked up the spoon and fork and began putting food on his plate.
They eat their meals in silence.
