I'm so new here at writing so expect me to have some mistakes on my spellings and grammar. So bear with it. And I'll be writing in 1,500 words maximum and 1,000 minimum. ❤️
~Chapter 1~
(ring) (ring) the sound of the alarm doesn't stop.
Aghh, is it morning already? (ring) (ring) I rosed up from my bed and turned off the annoying alarm. I don't feel like going to school now (sigh). I stood up from my bed and looked at the mirror that revealed my not so good looking face and my messy hair which is black, and it also reveals my reddish eyes with the heavy eye bag underneath it. I don't know how much did I cry last night, yesterday, the day before yesterday, and the very other day. Well I must be strong, once a promise will be always a promise.... Right ? Today marks the 25th day of my bestfriends death, Claire, not really about the bestfriend thing. I don't know how everything turned liked this. I never regretted this much. Why, just whyyyyy! Aghh, I slapped face with both of my hands.
Okay, this doesn't help anymore. I walked towards the bathroom to take a bath, I stripped my clothes and turned on the shower and started to bath.
After bathing I feel relaxed, i went back to my room and started to look for my school uniform which I didn't used for 1 month. After looking for awhile, I found it in the last cabinet of my room, I wore it and then the school pants which is under the uniform. After wearing my clothes, I started to pack my bag for school. After that I raised the bag and putted it in my back. I looked once in the mirror before exiting my house and started to go to my destination which is the school.
The very first thing I noticed was, it's already winter. It's been a while since I saw snow. I started to walk. After reaching the first block I started to see students wearing the same uniform I am wearing. As I got closer to our school the number of students is increasing. I reached our school gate. Leitchfield Academy, the NO.1 school in all Japan. The quality of the teachers is A+, the facilities are also A+. If you want to enroll here, you must have the average of 90. The classrooms are also divided to three. A3 for students with average of 90 to 94 and A2 for students who got 94 to 98, and for who got 98 to 100 they would be tested again, to know whether they cheated or not. And here I am.
I stood still in front of the schools gate. I'm still reluctant in attending my classes, my feet is even hesitant to enter the school (dringggg). Oh no, I'm late said the male student behind me.
I entered the campus slowly since no one expected me to come today. As I walk towards the hallways I feel nostalgia here. It's been 15 years since I started going to this school and thus this becomes my first home. Since I didn't have a place to call home.
As I was in my little thought I arrived to my classroom A1, unexpected right? Well, I've have nothing to lose anymore, I opened the door slow and steady until it's fully opened. This is the worst part.
" You decided to attend school now after being absent for almost a month. Nothing will change if you do nothing, now go back to your sit. " said Ma'am Jade.
"Ye-yeah." I replied to Ma'am Jade. I could here students whispering.
Well, I expected this beforehand, I started to walk towards my sit and realized it that it was already occupied so as Claire's sit. The one sitting was a blonde boy, a handsome one to say. I came to his side and asked him gently.
"Uh, this is my sit, so uh." (Shin)
"So what, you just came here after getting absent for a Month and you claim this as your sit."said the blonde boy."Go find an another sit." the blonde boy added.
Actually I don't care about where I sit but, this time it holds a ton of memories with Claire, Is what I want to said.
"But this is where I was assigned to sit." I said to the blonde boy.
"Shin, why are you standing." asked Ma'am Jade.
"Claude, enough go back to your original sit." intervened the girl in Claire's sit.
"B-but." retorted the blonde.
"Just go."
The blonde boy stood up and took his things from my sit and walked away towards his sit, after that I sat down in my original sit. I layed down my head and started to adjust so I can get comfortable enough to get sleep. As I was going to sleep I heard a voice. It's almost the same voice as Claire's.
"As expected from delinquents, they don't know how to express their gratitude, why are you even here in Class A1. Is the principal your relative." Said the girl in a disgust voice.
I didn't mind her saying anything she wants, it's her own opinions, she got the right to say it and I have the right to ignore it. And what the hell, that asshole was the one in fault not me . I layed down my head and slept through all class. I woke up because of the bell ringing again, this time it marks the end of the school day. I realized everyone was going out but I stayed inside the peaceful classroom.
"hin"
"Shin!
"huh? Ma'am jade, why are you here." I asked Ma'am.
"Don't huh me, if you want to sleep then go home." scolded Ma'am Jade.
"But this is my home." (Shin)
"Just go." (Jade)
"Okay, okay, I'll be going now." I said as I stood up and packed my things.
"Will you be alright." asked Ma'am jade in a worried tone.
"You forced me to go home and now you're worried." (Shin)
"Well it's a teacher job to take care of their students, well get going, the sun won't wait for you."
After Ma'am Jade scolded me, I bowed and started to leave the classroom until Ma'am jade stopped me.
"Here." (Jade)
Ma'am Jade gave me a small box.
"What's this." I asked Ma'am Jade but she didn't answer instead she left the classroom before me.
Without second thought I opened the small box, it contained a paper and a small key. The Note was so fammilar not because I have read it, it's because it's Claire's Penmanship. I took the key and slipped it into my pocket, next I took the small paper and opened it. This is clearly Claire's Writing.
Dear Aergia
If you're reading this it means my fate has already expired. I know I've broken my promise, but, please don't break my promise too, I want you to live happily even without me. Our time with each other was short but for me, it was the longest. But don't resent me because I rejected you a hundred times, or more than that, you know the reasons why I rejected you, right? Well I'll keep this short since I'm currently writing in your notebook. Haha, also if you're holding the box that was given by Ma'am Jade, there should be a key right? Take the key and go to my sit and there's a unusual box there, take it and you can open it using the key. But please don't show it to others, it's quite embarrassing.
I really loved you since the beginning.
