Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 - Transfer.

"Young man. Do you know why you are here?"

An old man wearing a white robe with a black dragon symbol in its chest part. He has a white beard that reached his chest and eyes that we're blue than the sea. He may be an old man but his body was muscular to the point that you might think he was a young man with an old face.

"I already know. It was my mistake at first. Please don't let me remember it again." A handsome young man with blonde hair and golden eyes replied to the man. His name is David Reese.

He died by rescuing a child that was almost hit by a truck. David doesn't know who the child was but his body moved by itself to push the child away and then he regretted what happened next.

"But that was heroic!" The old man said with admiration.

"Heh, " The young man sighed.

"You know what? As you did. I will give you a once in a lifetime chance to live again." The old man suggested.

"Really? I can go back to earth? Alive?" David asked back excitedly.

"No, I'm afraid I can't do that. It is against the law of nature and life." The old man shook his head in pity.

"But don't you worry. You will live your life to the fullest. You will not regret your new life in that world." The old man said proudly.

"Then? What am I going to do?"

"Before I will transfer you. I would like you to know that this new world you will live in is where magic exists. Thou the technology is not that advanced." The old man said casually and continued.

"But, I will give you a gift that you will not die unless you commit suicide." The man said looking at him.

"Okay. I understand." David replied nonchalantly

The two of them sat cross-legged while facing each other. Then the old man introduced him to the new world he will live in.

The world he will be transferred is named Euphoria. Where people learn magic and the world itself is two times bigger than earth.

Because magic existed. People often studied magic instead of increasing their technology except when it comes to warlike technologies.

The world itself has 7 continents as well but bigger.

"That is all I can explain for now. Thou I will contact you often if I have a chance." The old man said.

"Okay but before that. Can I even survive in that world? I'm just an average normal teenager with a balance in academics and sports. In fact, I don't even know how to fight." David said in a worried tone.

David is considered as a normal student on the earth, not like those prodigies or geniuses. His academics are only average as well as his athletic status when it comes to sports. But, with his good looks. He was known as a famous student because of it.

"As I tell you. Don't worry young man. I will give you powers that can surpass anything but don't get carried away." The old maid calmly.

The old man gestured to David to move closer to him. Then he let David kneel. Using his finger, he touched David's forehead.

"What is this?!"

David's eyes open wide because of the powers surging inside his body. Not just supernatural or fantasy kind of powers but memories of how to use his powers like he already knows what to do as if he was trained for generations.

He clenched his fist to endure the pain his body felt. He was sweating so hard that his clothes were soaked.

Minutes have passed then the pain vanished and quickly his body started to relax. The old man exclaimed that David endured the changes inside his body. He was expecting it will take him an hour to recover while surely he will faint from the process.

"I did not expect that you will withstand the process of giving you powers young man."

"Thank you for praising me. Then now what?" David asked nonchalantly while his body is lying on the ground like a starfish.

"Now, I will transfer you to the world you will be in." The old man gestured his hand to a nearby space. Then a rift appeared.

"Enter and go experience a new life. Also, capture girls to your heart's content! Haha!" While laughing like a maniac. He pushed David towards the rift.

David wanted to say thanks to the old man for giving him a second life and chance but the old man pushed him right away.

His surroundings immediately change. Just a minute ago David was inside in a white space but when he opened his again, he was surrounded by trees.

"A forest huh? As expected. Thou I thought it will be different than the novels and animes I read and watched but everything is the same."

He looked around for a while. "So? Now then, before going to a town or city I have to get stronger first."

"Open map." David thought in his mind than a circle-shaped transparent map appeared on the front of him. He tried to touch the map but his finger went through.

The forest was big and there we're red dots in most places.

"Red dots mean enemies obviously but this green one? NPC? or an ally? Better look for it first."

David was not confident to face enemies right away because he just got transferred. He wanted to play safe even thou the old man said he will not die unless he is doing something crazy.

Then, he went to the green dot. Following the path, we're the map pointed. His figure in the map is a triangle shape while the green dot was an awkward shape like it has horns.

The green dot was getting nearer and nearer then he hides himself to a nearby bush.

"A dragon?! I was expecting to be a goblin or a slime in my first encounter. This map is a scam!" He shouted in his mind.

The dragon noticed something and looked to the nearby bush. They were just a few meters away so it's the dragon can simply notice him. Goblins and slimes are mostly idiots but in front of him is a dragon.

"Damn!" David cursed. David is usually a calm and reserved kind of man but facing a dragon on his first day was too much for him.

Even thou the dragon was small in size but it was still a dragon so it made him nervous as hell.

"Fight? or run?"

He brainstormed for a few seconds but the dragon leaps towards his direction without giving him a second chance to move.
