That night in Collet's dorm room.
"I'm sorry Yue, because of my carelessness you got an amnesia," Collet said.
"No it's my own fault I'm having amnesia," Yue said who felt bad for Collet. "I became like this, because I was stunned in the middle of the road."
"But I didn't expect Yue to accept the offer to study in this city," Collet said. "Was before you experienced memory loss, you were someone who ove to learn?"
"Eeeeh, is that so? Somehow I feel that I'm not that kind of person," Yue said who somehow felt unsure if she liked to studying or not.
"But Yue, why did you choose the same subjects as me instead?" Asked Collet. "Training to be a knight cadet is really tough, you know physically and mentally."
"Because when I heard Collet's story, being a knight cadet seemed like an interesting thing," Yue replied. "That's why I chose the same subject as you, but what I want to know. Why does Collet also want to be a knight cadet?"
"That's because I would look cool if I became a knight cadet!" Collet replied with sparkling eyes. "Among the knights there is a group called the 'War Maiden Brigade' which is a collection of elites among the knights of Ariadne! They are the users of a special magic called Magecraft. Which is more difficult in theory and practice than ordinary magic!"
"Magecraft? A special magic that uses magic circuits that reside within the human body? Which is said to have been created and distributed by the Master of Kaleidoscope Zelretch, whose whereabouts are currently unknown?" Yue said who suddenly uttered an explanation of Magecraft from her mouth.
"Your memory's gone, but you can remember about Magecraft," Collet said. "Even to mention the name of Master Zelretch who is the founder of Ariadne, it seems you really are someone who loves to learn."

"Maybe yes, maybe not," Yue said. "But when let's try to become a great magic knight cadet."
"Yeah, you're right Yue!" Collet said. "Because if we can become elite-level magic knights, we can both learn Magecraft that ordinary students in this city of Ariadne can't learn!"
"Learning Magecraft isn't easy, you know," Yue said who doubted whether Collet could learn Magecraft or not, due to Collet's poor grades. "If I'm not mistaken, your grade is the lowest in the class, isn't it?"
"Yue you're so mean!" Collet shouted. "Indeed I have the lowest grades in class, because I've been lazy to study lately. But that doesn't mean I can't learn Magecraft, does it! Yue herself try to use magic with this wand! I wonder if you still remember how to use magic or not!"
Yue took the wand that Collet had given her, then cast a standard spell to light a fire.
"Practe Bigi Nar Ardescat!"
"Ah, it's good that you haven't forgotten how to use simple magic at all," said Collet, who looked happy to see Yue could use basic magic.
"Eeehm apart from magic using a wand, somehow I also know how to use Magecraft," Yue said who activated the magic circuit in her body, and ignited a fire on her index finger.
Collet's mouth fell open to see Yue, able to use magic techniques that were reserved for the elites in Ariadne. She didn't think that the amnesiac girl he was helping could use the magic technique he had always wanted to use.
"Y-Yue how did you come to be able to use Magecraft?"Asked Collet.
"I don't know myself," Yue replied. "Suddenly for some reason I know how to use it."
"Yue you have to promise me not to use Magecraft no matter what," Collet said with a face that looked very serious. "Because if a non-elite student like the two of us is found to be able to use Magecraft, both of us will be suspected and we will be in danger! Since Magecraft is a special technique for the elites, if you use it you can be considered as a spy, who wants to seize the way of using Magecraft."
"A-alright," Yue said. "I won't be using Magecraft while I'm in this school, for our common good."

The next morning in Yue's first class as a mid-level student at Ariadne.
"All of you, we have a new transfer student," The doctor said who also turned out to be Collet's homeroom teacher. "This is Collet Farandole's distant relative, and her her name is Yue Farandole."
"Nice to meet all of you," Yue said as she bowed her head.
Yue then walked towards her seat, which was right next to Collet. Many students in Collet's class felt strange about Yue's sudden ppearance, but in the end they didn't care about Yue who they thought was as stupid as Collet. Except for a few students with screws loose on their heads.
Before sitting down Yue put a pile of books on her desk. And obviously that took Collet by surprise.
"Yu-Yue can you read that many books?" Asked Collet.
"I used to seem like a lazy witch, that's why I need a lot of books to study to catch up with the othwr student," Yue replied.
"Well, it's up to you, anyway," Collet said with a sigh. "As long as you're happy."

"Mundus Vetus used to be considered a fairy tale by the people of Mundus Magicus until the first century, on the one hand Mundus Vetus was far more advanced in terms of social order than Mundus Magicus, but on the other side of what is referred to as the pathological world, hundreds of years have passed on a much different path. Mundus Vetus and Mundus Magicus walk like mirrors to each other."
The boring history lesson almost put Yue to sleep, but with a very strong determination. She manages to stay awake and jot down the things she deems important.
Likewise in the lessons of potions, theory and magic formulas and also runes. Yue tried her best so that she could absorb all the lessons well.
The only lesson that was very difficult for Yue to learn was flying on a broom. Because even after a week of secretly training with Collet, she couldn't fly on a broom at all.
"Eh, Collet next week has a test to fly using a broom for a hundred kilometers," said Yue. "I'm not sure if I can fly that far, especially now that I'm just floating around."
"Well, I myself can only fly a maximum of twenty kilometers," Collet said. "Looks like we'll both have to add more broom-flying practice, so we can get a good score on the test."

"Master's forbidden technique that can increase strength by five times!" Shouted Negi who was excited to hear that there was a technique that could increase strength many times over.
"I want to know what kind of technique Magia Erebea is," Kotarou said who started to change his mind after he found out that Magia Erebea can drastically increase his strength.
"Magia Erebea is a special technique that I perfected for ten years, when I was weak," Evangeline said. "But since it requires dark elemental magic energy, ordinary people can't possibly use it, even a half-demon wouldn't be able to use it without getting bad side effects."
"Seems like Magia Erebea is a really great technique," Negi said. "But if it's a technique that uses the element of darkness like that, maybe Shirou-Nii can use it freely without having to suffer from the side effects."
"He was able to imitate Magia Erebea perfectly when I demonstrated that technique, when I had a sparring match against him at my villa two months ago," Evangeline said looking annoyed.."Alucard in his body allows him to use Magia Erebea more perfectly!"
"Well, if it was Shirou-Nii-san I wouldn't be surprised anymore," Kotarou said with sweat running down his face. "For a man like him who has a lot of cheats like characters in manga or anime, imitating techniques in an instant doesn't feel strange."
"Eeeh Shirou-Nii also mastered Magia Erebea!? Plus with just one look!" Negi shouted. "Shirou-Nii really is a monster!"
"Well, people with talent like him are almost non-existent," Evangeline said. "But I know one person who has talent and strength beyond Shirou, and he's someone I won't face no matter what."
