Mei awoke to the melodious sound of the whip cracking against her section of the carpet. She had fallen asleep during History and Mythology Studies, a habit she had had yet to break out of, "Yes, Falae?"
Her tutor, a thousand year old Falae (Tree Spirit), named Jawia scowled at her, a daily occurrence, "Explain to me the exact reason Kagrina created the race of Elves?"
Mei beamed, surely this was easy, "She was tried of protecting the forests from the human race?"
Falae scoffed, her ebony waves of hair swishing with the motion of her head shaking in disgust. The room shook as the whip hit the floor again when her delicate hand did a sharp flick, "Wrong. Pay attention, you must learn this."
Mei flinched. Holding the bronze brush, she began to write down the things she deemed important during Falae's repeated lecture. It was the creation myth.
"Before creation, there laid a girl. Alone. Seeming no older than the human age of 5. As she breathed, the multi-verse was born, galaxies were created, world's formed, planets shaped and life bloomed.
She grew into a woman. Her cotton-candy pink hair changed to the colours of Poceina's (Her home where she spent the most time at) night sky (stars and all). Ghost skin turned bronze. Petite became curved.
After spending many aeons alone, she sat on the ground and began to form a body out of mud. A female, just like her. The female was named Kagrina, Goddess of wisdom, knowledge, guidance, Mothers and trust. Her skin was the colour of mocha and her eyes were soft and kind, warm brown and full of gentleness. She had long (shin-length), plaited hair braided (with gold beads) which was a beautiful obsidian. Her soft features and almond-shaped eyes were set into a eternal motherliness.
Unsatisfied, Meier molded another form, her husband, Elaevala. He was tall, with long, elegant ink-like hair. He was a male version of Kagrina, with glowing, amber eyes. He was declared the God of Fire, Earth, Wards, Forges and Blacksmiths.
Gathering many jewels and gems, Meier formed animals. Exotic and wild they were. Serpents and dragons roamed the world. Little Folk graced the forests. Tigers, lions and many others hunted in the jungles and plains.
A millenia after, Meier gave birth to a baby girl. Yui, Goddes of Performance, Entertainment, Charisma, Crafts, Architecture and The Arts. With her flowing mane of vermillion and scarlet, sapphire eyes, a hourglass figure and hazel skin, she was heavily favoured in Ancient times. As a child, Yui weaved multiple tapestries, displaying many happy memories, leopards dancing in the sunlight, a Phoenix resting within flames of blue wildfire and carved detailed sculptures and formed many mosaics.
The queen had a son, Jawa, who was born a year later. Jawa was gender-fluid and a shape shifter, however he was said to be male in most legends. He is the God/Goddess of magic, illusions, deceptions, merchants, thieves and birth. (Only his parents knew his true form)
He got along extraordinarily with his older sister, he enchanted her tapestries into moving and talking, her sculptures into walking and fighting with incredible persision.
The next child born into the royal family was named Chrono, God of Time, prophecies, riddles, poetry and hunting. He was platinum blond, broadly built, tanned with silver eyes.
His domain over prophecies and riddles helped gain favour from Kagrina and soon he became her understudy, spending time hunting with his siblings in his spare time.
Meier underwent another birth only a few months later. This time it was twins, Fafnar and Luniety. Two complete opposites. Fafnar was given the domains of Summer, Autumn and the special duty of providing sunlight to the world's. Luniety was given domains of Winter, Spring and the special duty of controlling the tides using the moon. Fafnar had the hair colour of the red of Autumn leaves, his eyes were a sunset of purple, red, pink, gold and orange and his skin reminded many of polished bronze. Luniety was the complete opposite. She had long, ice white and blue, curly hair, grass green eyes and freshly, fallen, snow white skin.
Together, they helped the world's to easily transition from Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring.
Then came the triplets: Alegra, Goddess of beauty, jewels, fertility, children and growth; Gragaz, God of the Wilderness and Animals; Kashu, God of War, Weapons and Carnage. Alegra was born with long, granite hair, gold and purple eyes with peach skin. Gragaz had bronze-like skin, beautiful lion ears, gold eyes and fire-like hair. Kashu was gifted with pale skin, midnight hair and electric blue eyes.
Alegra was the 3rd most beautiful woman in the universe, downgraded only, by her mother and her aunt. Gragaz wildness could barely be contained in one form, he spent his time with Jawa, switching bodies as easily as he breathed. Kashu had many lovers and many, many children. His love had no boundaries."
Mei sure hoped she wasn't going to awake to a knife in her chest, for she had fallen asleep, again.
