4 Leaving Brewster Valley 1- Kidnapped
Hasley's pov
My vision clouded as the two men walked closer to me. It seemed they were muttering something in some kind of language.
The closer they got the more I lost my consciousness. Eventually I couldn't hold out anymore and passed out. As I fell I felt a pair of hands around my waist to prevent me from falling onto the floor. It was
then that my consciousness slipped away.
I woke up. I opened ( well tried to open ) my eyes, they weren't fully adjusted to the light. So I closed it again and tried once more. Finally I was able to open my eyes fully. I peered across from me. I saw a young lady wearing a simple blue gown. Her skin as pale as snow. But her hair as red as fire. Her fiery orange long hair was put into a simple ponytail. Her eyes a glowing pale green. Her freckles were spread across her cheek like as if somebody spilled them on her cheeks by mistake. She's fairly pretty, but some would consider her only flaw to be her freckles. But to me they were lovely.
She was leaning casually against the wall with her arms crossed. She was gazing out the window gloomily. Tapping her foot impatiently. I looked around the room.
The walls were barren. They were white. Plain white. Not a single blemish was to be found on the wall the floors too. The floor was white as well. The door the exact same colour. So similar to the wall that I almost missed it entirely! Nothing was in the room except one window, and a few beds. The bedframes where made out of metal. The only other thing on the bed was a plain mattress. It was then I realized that I was on one of those beds.
My hands were tied to the bed frame.
My legs were free. It was then I started to remember that I was kidnapped!
I instantly tried to struggle. Not wanting to make too much sound. I didn't want to get the girls attention. I used my long slender fingers to loosen the rope around my hands. I had absolutely no idea why those guys decided to kidnap me. But I needed to escape. After a few tries I managed to loosen the ropes completely. Getting my hands free I rubbed them trying to ease the pain left over from the ropes.
I quietly got out of bed.
I glanced around the room looking for something I could use to protect my self.
I saw a chair. It wasn't much but it was better than nothing.
I grabbed the chair. As I did I knocked something off of it catching the girls attention. She swiftly turned to face me. With a slightly confused face she walked over to me slowly. I picked up the chair placing it in front of me backing away slowly. "S-stay away!" I tried to say bravely but couldn't help the waver in my voice. She scoffed lightly and rolled her eyes.
She continued walking towards me as if I didn't say anything. Note to self : improve threatening skills.
She lifted her hand and in a quick flicking motion she swished the chair lightly out of my hand and onto the floor.
My eyes widened. I instantly turned behind me and ran towards the door. I tried to open it but it wouldn't budge that's when I realised that it was locked. I turned around anxiously and saw the girl smirking evilly. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a key. Dangling it in front of me tauntingly. "Looking for these?" She said annoyingly.
" P-please let me go, trust me whatever your planning to do with me isn't worth it" I begged.
"Hmm." She said with one hand on her hip and the other on her chin. As if to emphasize the point that she was thinking about my reasoning.
"Sure." She said whilst smiling cheekily.
"Huh?" I said confused. That's didn't take much convincing.
She casually tossed the key to me. I caught it. And quickly turned to face the door and opened it. I dashed out of the room before the girl could change her mind.
Narrator pov
The strange girl was left in the room by herself after Hasley dashed out of the room. She smirked evilly at the newly opened door. "Hmm she didn't even say thank you. How rude!" She said feigning angriness. The girl then spoke to her watch. ( which Hasley failed to notice she had )
"She escaped." She said lazily to her watch.
"Don't ask me how just go get her she should still be on the second floor."
After that sentence the girl put down her hand.
"If only she said thank you I might've not ratted on her. Oh well. " She said whilst flicking her hand so the chair that Hasley picked up before would be cushioned nicely underneath her. She flicked her hand again and out came a newspaper that Hasley had knocked off of the chair. She grasped it and began to read it casually.
