"This is all I could get.." said Arathus placing some fruits infront of Shang and then sat opposite to her.
She looked at the fruits and then at him and smiled. He too smiled, and looked away, but after some time he again looked at her and saw her staring at him smiling.
Even if he wanted to look away, he couldn't. He wanted this moment of theirs to stop as long as possible so that he could admire her beautiful features, and look deep into her eyes to know if she really had some place for him inside her heart.
"How're you able to do so much work? Dont you get tired?" she asked. "Here." she said then handing some fruits to him.
As they started eating, in between bites, sometimes their eyes would meet, and they would look away, but sometime they would linger for long moments in each other.
"Do you need anything else princess?" he asked.
"Call me Shang, not princess." She said.
Suddenly strong heavy winds started blowing and a loud thunder came from the sky and she shrieked in fear, throwing her fruit away and covering her face.
The hut had no door so Arathus standing up went to her and hugging her covered her ears till the sound was gone.
"Since childhood I've always been scared of thunders..." she cried.
He slowly pulled away from her and their eyes met. They both were so close to each other. She could feel his warm and calm breath and he could feel her heartbeat. It was as if time had stopped for them. Her eyes were fixed in his, getting drowned with his lovely brown ones, when they went down to his lips, and he slowly licked it.
Shang slowly put her hands on his face and again looked in his eyes. All she could see was just....pain. She knew what she was doing was wrong, and that she shouldn't be doing this, but now that he was so close to her, she couldn't control herself anymore. Anyway she wanted to do so since a long time.
Arathus placed his hands over her's and she bit her bottom lip, but when he slowly started removing it from his face she again looked at him but now he wasn't looking at her anymore. Leaving her and moving back to his spot he didnt gave her another look and she understood.
When some time had passed he lowly said, "We shouldn't be doing this..." then he asked, glancing her a side look, "and have you forgotten that your mother had appointed me as your teacher also?"
When she heard the word mother she became a bit low but then realizing he was right she nodded at him and said, "I'm sorry.."
Meanwhile, the tall man whom Arathus had met earlier suddenly barged inside his hut and holding Arathus by his shoulders looked in his eyes, which grew big in shock.
The tall man's eyes were bloodshot red and he was panting heavily. Blood was flowing from all his scars and it seemd as if someone had beaten him up badly.
He opened his mouth trying to say something but his voice couldn't come out. Sweat started forming on his forehead and before falling dead on the ground he whispered to Arathus crying, "The...guards.."
Shang looked terrified at the dead man and Arathus holding her hand took her out of the hut. But when they reached out they saw a massive crowd of guards standing all four sides around them with heavy arms and Rahn, in the centre smiling.
"Well, well, well...." he said.
Something like this had never happend before or you could say it was one of God's miracles but now knowing that there was no way out for them, something from the sky came to their rescue.
Even Arathus himself couldn't believe at the sight, though he had studied ancient scriptures and a lot of legends, a huge flying dragon, a very big one was flying in the sky above them.
Rahn and his soldiers looked at the dragon but not wasting much time on it, again looked at them and as Rahn gave his command to his soldiers, the huge dragon, suddenly coming down to them hit all his guards aside and stopping infront of Arathus and Shang blowed his nose, which was obviously huge, which bowed out fire.
Arathus knew the decision he was going to make would be difficult, and it could even take his and her life, but they couldn't even run. And even if they thought of something else, who knew for how long they would be successful? So without giving it another thought he grabbed Shang's arms and placing her on the dragon sat behind her, gently moving his hands on it.
To his surprise the dragon flew up and flying into the sky blowed fire on the soldiers and maybe Rahn.
"Hold tight!" screamed Arathus, as the dragon took of his flight from down to up and as it went furiously flapping its wings, Shang screamed.
It kept on flying until it slowed down its pace and coming down to a monastery stopped.
When he and Shang got off and saw the huge monastery, all they could do was stare at the magnificent view of it and he said, "The Great Monastery of Monk Zen...from where legends took birth.."
Then he looked at the dragon and going to it moved his hands on his face and suddenly it again flew up leaving them perplexed at the place.
