After a simple whistle from Luginas, an earpiercing cry from above cloud, echoes. . .Air splitting and what descends is a creature who has an upper body of an eagle and lower body of a horse, a monster as if noticing its prey dived towards Luginas, surprisingly, the latter didn't batting an eye and instead waiting for its arrival. . .the said creature surprisingly stopped before it collides into him. Wind blew near their vicinity from its sudden stop.
Good thing this is an isolated area at the toppest roof of Guild Adventurer, so none realized the supposedly extinct half eagle half horse mighty creature, the Hyppogryph is now facing against Luginas.
"What is it that you called?!" but in annoyance, the creature suddenly questioned.
"Yo Greed, long time no see" looking friendly, Luginas welcomed the said creature, calling it Greed.
After receiving his friend's summon, Luginas already let others do the job he should do as this shows in his very face that couldn't even hide. . .he sneer as if his problem is already been solve. Watching this did the Hyppogryph click its tongue as its annoyance doubled instead, "What is it that you called!?" Greed then repeated its question. After all, that familiar sneer made him want to flew off again.
By its name suggest. Greed is indeed greedy creatures when it comes on eating, he always eat then sleep, but that isn't the current story. So let's spare that for now.
"Hmm I want you to keep an eye of this Kingdom's princess for now. . .you know her, right? afterall, she's the very great grandchild whom your oformer master adored of. . ." Striking the nail, Greed couldn't rebut as Luginas find the fitting word for the poor Greed to obey.
Indeed, Greed's former master is a self-proclaimed lolicon. When that time, the princess' great grandmother is not even a 5 years old, but the 'Demon Emperor' Astolfo fancied her and even kidnapped her because of her devastating cuteness. . .thanks to it, as an Adventurer thirsts of adventures and action from that time whom Luginas forgotten why; the infamous 'Gin Galmung', journeyed with his friend to judged this sinner.
Well realistically speaking, the Quest level and the mission itself is eye an catching, so they accepted it without much of a thought.
After then, the two ventures inside the 'Uncharted' and kill the lolicon Demon Emperor; liberates the princess, and made the Hyppogryph become one of their companion that no one knows who or how. . .thus, the rest is a legend from there-on.
But the Hyppogryph didn't obey and instead demands, "You know the rules!" as it snorts.
Luginas smile worned down as he hear the word. "How greedy of you" he complained
"What, isn't that our deal?"
"Jeez, you greedy bastard, what if I'll run out of them someday? you should take responsible, okay?", trying to reason out, Luginas scraches his belly.
"As if you'll run out!", the Hyppogryph then followed, "And of course if that happens I'll stay out of your sight ever, If you're useless then I'll leave you alone, that's our pact afterall"
"Then if you've turned out to become useless, I'll fry you alive, so atleast I could taste your meat?"
as he jested, Luginas swept his right hand; space distorted as black hole emerged. "Five kilograms of [Fire Dragon King's] 'Dragon Meat', here ya go. . ."
A tube-like red scaly figure with pointy dark nail and the size of a small child; dropped through the ground coming from said distorted place, "that's his feet's index finger", sneering, the lazy Luginas crossed his arm.
"Y-you wretched! why it has to be with nails this time!?"
"What? That's still a dragon meat you know?"
Fuming, Greed asks but Luginas didn't move his muscle after, realizing that the last time it was Dragon's anus, he let slide this time. "Now go, make sure to keep them safe before coming here"
With mocking smile, he commanded the poor Hyppoggryph who, without a choice, fetched its portions of meal without retort as it still didn't stop salivating. . .if its try to complain, its meal will divided into 50% which is half of its original size, --that is inside their contract-- so, it didn't complain after.
Afterall, its been a while since he last tasted this delicious meat.
After that, the Hyppogryph retreated, within his beak is a piece of his favourite meal, a dragon meat. Luginas sigh in relief as his initial problem has been solve at last.
"Now then, all I have to do next is to train that 'Magic Swordsman' heh?", but what he do next is --not surprisingly, after entering his office-- lied down his back on his chair and leg sitted atop of his table and mutters, "that. . .would wait next time".
Hands intertwined at the back of his head, and momentarily closed his shiftless eyes. . .
