Both of them fought with their respective shadows as the shadows were their replicas, they had the same skills and tactics to defeat the opponent, therefore it was impossible to defeat the shadows.

Then Doc, With his Special Style gave A Flying Ninja Kick right on his Face, For which even he vanished....
'Now I get it...Ah...It didn't need any weapons, for a Bearded Person to kill a Shadow, His Most Powerful Weapon is his Combat Skills...Ahhh, God I'm Bleeding'
