Anemone, now known as Annie, has recovered from her near death with the help of her magical beast. Her saviors, Poppy and the twins Ollie and Maddy, lifestyle tempts her away from her old life with the joy of being free and with no obligations. When she finds out the mysterious deaths happening in town is related to who went after her, Anemone is dragged back into her world.
