Chapter 1 - First Day of College

- Students, please proceed in front of the stage now. We will be starting our flag ceremony. Please line up into your designated lines, your seniors will be guiding you to your lines. Thank you.

Percival (Percy) was just staring at his small iPhone when he heard the announcement. What he was doing was something of no importance, he was just staring at his phone to reduce to awkwardness he was feeling.

Since it's the first day of college, he was in a completely new school, hundreds of kilometers away from his hometown and his friends. In short, he was alone in this world as of this moment.

Well, not the whole world, just the whole campus. Since it is also his fault for being an extremely timid young man.

'*sigh I should line up at the back, I don't want to attract attention.' Percy thought to himself as he stood up. It is not that he is bragging but Percy is tall for his height.

Standing at about 193 cm or 6'4, he was bound to attract attention wherever he went, especially when he is standing. Though his height has no other use aside from the advantage of reaching high things.

When he stood up, Percy had attracted the attention of those students just beside him. They were surprised to see how tall he was, even though they were already guessing since it was obvious.

Percy ignored their gazes, trying to keep himself calm, he made his way towards the designated line for his section.

BSEE-1A

It was not that hard to look for it since he had the advantage of his height, quickly finding it amidst the crowd. Walking his way towards there without minding the looks he was receiving from other students.

'My height is troublesome. I wish I am shorter.' But of course, this is just but a random thought since he like his height. Percy would never want to lose this one advantage that he likes since being tall makes him look a little bit intimidating.

Making it to their line, he lined up at the very back. The student in front of him was startled by his appearance, Percy only nodded at her and stayed silently at the back.

The line was not separated into gender since the quadrangle, which is in front of the stage only had a limited space. It was not a big thing since the students are not as troublesome as in highschool.

- Good morning students. Please focus your attention here as we will now start the ceremony.

- Please participate and sing the national anthem with us.

*music SFX*

The music started as they all started singing the national anthem. Percy also sung, he was not worried since he was not a bad singer. Though the girl in front of him was surprised to hear his voice, her's was also not bad.

"...because of you~" The sound ended as the music had also stopped.

- Hello again everyone. Once again, I welcome you all to Togeda Engineering School.

*sounds of applause*

- I am your principal, my name is Joseph Estrain. I -"

The middle-aged man on stage, who had introduced himself as the principal started talking about the school, it's rules, ambition, and achievement, which are all omitted automatically by Percy's brain.

Aside from the principal, there were also other individuals on stage sitting. There were seven of them of which three are female while the remaining are all males.

It was not long before the principal ended his speech.

- ...once again, enjoy your time in our school.

With that, he went back to his seat, which is just behind him. A lady then stood up from her seat and went towards the stand.

She was just about to be in her twenties, she was wearing a sexy uniform which should be their uniform. She was not wearing anything aside from the uniform but she still looks unique and was very attractive.

The eyes of the growing teen in front of the stage, who were all just about to close suddenly all lit up with vigor and stared at her. Their eyes did not miss her subtle movements, catching even the rhythm of her breathing.

'Teen are quite scary.' Percy thought as he was only one of some students who did not act like most of the other males. He sensed someone's gaze on him as he glanced at the direction where it came from.

But he didn't find anything out of the ordinary, all he saw was that the students were looking at the stage, with most of the males looking at that beautiful teacher, who was already introducing herself.

- Hello there students. I am Miralyn Yessley, will be one of your math professors. We will be having an orientation at the school gymnasium. Your seniors will be leading the way, please follow them quietly and don't cause any trouble.

The male students who were all focused at her furiously nodded their heads. It was like they were suddenly given a world-shaking mission. Their actions are similar to a person who had just received a mission to save the world.

Percy just shook his head as he saw this, he took the headset from his pocket and put them on. Since there will be an orientation, it will surely be another boring hour or two.

He had no friend to talk to here since he was not a socially active person, he decided to leave it up to fate if he will be able to make some new friends here or not. Percy did not care if he is alone or not, cause for him, they are all just the same.

Percy was taken aback though since he heard a voice just behind him.

"Excuse me..."
