Chapter 87 - The Return Home

The whole plane ride it was no technology for me. I surprised myself with how exhausted I was from that year and just slept the entire way. When we got off, all the information was processed and quite quickly, we were outside the airport. On the car I had my laptop out for the first time in a while, this time I wasn't practicing hand speed or anything like that, I was planning my trip to Ameria.

I picked up my phone and was out to send a message out to the head butler saying that I'm going to be going on a business trip to check on one of my businesses I realised something. I forgot to ask for the people's numbers! I don't have anyone of their numbers including Anastasia. I don't have Dominic's either because I never bothered to ask for it.

When I looked at my phone though, I saw six words that put a smile on my face.

'It's been 3 minutes and I already remember your terrible way of language stallion,"

Anastasia. It's so obvious. She came up as an unknown number and there were 4 other unknowns not including me. This was the whole group, nice job. I added her to my contacts and then typed back.

Michael: How did you get the numbers?

Unknown: cos she's a stalker obvly

Unknown: btw Dominic

I then added Dominic to my contacts.

Dominic : how did u become a stalker!

Unknown 1: she was always like that

Unknown 2: just try to change her ways

Unknown 1: too conservative,"

Anastasia : idiots

Anastasia: don't even know what their talking about btw the first one is Keung and the second is Kong.

I then added them to my contacts. On the car, sure I forgot to plan my trip, but I got social for once, this is probably the first time that I've stayed on technology for more the a few hours and it's not even for work.

We texted the whole way back before I had to say bye to some people because I was home and the car stopped. I got out of the car after saying goodbye to my friends and then putting my phone away.

I didn't pay any attention to the butler who was driving the car in place for Mark. He was amazing, this guy, not so much. He was basically a standard chauffeur, no talk no nothing, an ai in human form. All those little mistakes and questions on the first day, he apologised so much for them, I just laughed at his flustered state. Now that I think about it, he made me more human, mistakes and questions, the will to learn. All human, he was human and that in turn made me more human.

Cause and affect guys.

On my sitting with my laptop sitting on my bed I got the date and the hotel booking down plus the approval of my parents, I managed to get their signature because I'm underaged to go overseas. I pretty sure I was because they wanted me gone. After a bit more researching and subconscious thinking a realisation was made from that. I went to school, my father was the combat teacher. That was it! After a year of combat training with him he really grasped my abilities in combat. I've also got my potentials now so that's a major advantage, I also doubt my parents have them because I've never seen them go pale. I can't imagine them going pale either. There's one thing about potentials that I'm pretty sure Althgar made us figure out for ourselves as a trial of responsibility. Don't you potentials where dormants and humans can see. It was obvious, at the same time wasn't said but what they don't say doesn't mean you can do. There are things like untold rules that are common sense but still have harsh consequences if not followed. Laws of nature can not be interfered with, though we already do we're facing backlash as we're doing it.

As said before, humans aren't smart, they're monkeys who have evolved skin first.

I went onto my phone with nothing else to do and went onto the unnamed chat.

Michael: going to Chicago next week

Almost right after I got a reply.

Keung: Nice.

Kong: Remember to send photos.

They're the same even in text. Then I wondered.

Michael: have u ever texted with a friend?

There was a pause before the reply.

Keung: Depends how you define friend.

Kong: We've texted with business 'friends'.

Keung: Does that count?

Michael: no

Michael: btw you don't need caps or full stops if you texting

Keung: oh ok

Kong: what's btw

Michael: by the way

Keung: we'll learn more about texting later

Kong: right, having dinner now

Michael: bye then

Keung: bye

Kong: bye

These two are definitely new to texting. It's not like everyone types in full sentences with full stops and the like. Then again that kind of what I was like when I first went into year 5. People started getting phones then, I already had one though and since people knew I was rich they wanted to get my number. When they texted I would always be a noob and text in full sentences. They'd try to correct me and remain nice. Then when they revealed some of their true colours I threw the phone and got a new one. Also going to a different school.

It was hard when people only saw your background and not you. It was just hard. With the bookings all done and the tigers gone for lunch I went downstairs to go have something to eat, after that I wanted to try my hand speed with enhancement 1. See if that makes an improvement, it's not like anyone except someone else with the gift of eyes can see it. Even if they did it would only be wisps of white and red smoke coming up from my slightly pale hands.
