Next morning my body clock went off, I woke up with eyes that wanted to remain closed. I opened them to look around my plain room.
After my parents left I renovated and kind of forced the servants to not tell my parents.
Death threats don't work, bribes don't work, threats on family and friends don't work so what did I do?
I went the tiresome way.
I went on a research rampage and got all of their weak points which I then exploited.
I can't trust them, the only person I can afford to trust is Yuuta.
He hung around me even when I had my scholarship status.
He didn't see me differently when I told him my noble background.
I can't let my parents see this bedroom.
Plain white walls, wood desk and bookshelf that are still natural colour with a spiny chair of normal standard.
Normal single bed off to the side with black metal bed frame and white mattress.
Normal thin blanket as it's summer which is black and grey pillow cover.
Elegant and simple. I approve of the normal taste.
I also made my room smaller to match what a normal person's room would be, I also approve. It's small enough to be cozy but not suffocating.
"Micheal, you better be awake," I heard my mother say as she was coming up the stairs.
I hastily got on my cloths and stood outside my room closing the door.
"Why are you standing outside your door? You're never this respectful insolent child,"
She said with a suspicious gaze.
I forgot, she's my mother. The one I got my skepticism off.
I got the intuition off my father, those paired together made my, what other people call, superhuman sense.
"I was waiting to greet you mother," I said, trying not to give anything away.
She glanced my way as she headed downstairs.
"Hurry up downstairs, your father is already at the breakfast table and wanted to wait for you. Thank your father for acknowledging your existence."
I went back inside my room when she went out of view and turn the corner of my lips up. At least your still saved, I thought.
Heading downstairs I saw my father still waiting with that unreadable expression in his face and my mother with an annoyed face as she waited for me to sit down.
Father then started eating.
"Micheal how is school?" My father said out of the blue.
Have they finally started caring??
"It's good," I said back
"That's good, that means your enjoying it. Now it's your turn to pay up. Your next meeting is in Asia. Your to go to the following companies in Asia and return with successful business deals." My father said back.
Guess it was too good to be true.
"When do I leave."
"This trip will take at least a year and you will leave in February next year." My father said with a glare that seemed to say rebel if you dare.
"What about school?" I asked nonchalantly even though it was the biggest question in my head.
"Don't you pretend to not care, since your going to be gone for a year. You will pull out!" My mother said with a smirk on her lips.
She's enjoying torturing me, exploiting my only known weakness to them.
"At least your more useful then Elijah, you should be proud," my father said as he ate.
My mental wall suddenly crashed.
"What if I don't go?!" I managed to get out of my gritting teeth.
My father stood up sensing my killing intent. The cutlery cluttered on the plate as he dropped it.
"Then your out of school!" He said, clearly furiously.
My mother was watching with a grin.
"I will continue going, but I will not be going to Asia." The last straw was out.
"Red guards, throw him in the cellar. No food or water for 2 days!" He said furiously.
Red guards already? The red guards are a specifically selected group of guard. Their fighting skills are internationally known and their main purpose right now if to keep me in check under the orders of my father only.
A group of guards with thin clothing can out. In the middle of their chests their was a thick red line that went sideways. The splatters of colour on the side of the stripe looked like blood and their was a high chance it was.
They came in and surrounded me.
Now I'm in the dining room and I'm surrounded!
Sound familiar?
The difference is that I knew I had no chance against these people. The difference between the red guards and the robots is like a god to a mere rodent.
No harm in trying right?
I took my defensive position and watched them closing. Through my peripheral vision I saw both my parents leave the room to probably attend business matters.
I took a deep breath as my killing intent burst out and merged other my aura.
All of these guards are probably my equal of a bit weaker then me but it's five against one. It's really not fair especially because their teamwork is also top notch. My father is not dumb and designed their training putting big emphasis on teamwork.
He knew that the gap between me and them would never be that big unless it was unfair.
I lashed out with a combination of punches and kicks that all hit home because of the speed but the ones behind and too the side all attacked. There is no such thing as no blind spot.
Slowly the number of bruises started to build up and they were able to hit the same spots again and again.
Their own bodies filled with bruises as well but I can only do so much to five people in a short amount of time.
Soon they were able to immobilise me and throw me in the cellar.
I looked around the room of grey walls and and ground. The light was a single LED light in the centre of the room.
Why can't I live a day on earth and not hell?
...
No one came to see me in my isolation, no food or water for my parched mouth and hungry stomach.
I didn't go to school in those days either.
When I was about to wake up to the third day the door was open.
I ran out and checked the time. 7:50am I still had time.
I rushed to my room and put in my uniform. I ran to school without eating for the third day.
I needed to get to school.
I arrive at school at 8, I was going to be late for first class if the day.
Late is better better then never I suppose. I saw Yuuta in class daydreaming. Something I thought I would never see him do because of his strict nature. I scowled inwardly at his unusual behaviour.
"Good morning Yuuta," I said as I went or sit next to him.
"Good morning." He said briefly glancing my way before staring off into space again. He's ignoring me even when she's not in this class!!
This must be going over the line. Why does our friendship have to take a dip when my parents are at home.
I see the point of going to school but I really don't want to go home.
I was waiting for the end of school, eager to get to the dojo. The good thing is, you don't think, just do.
I spent the whole day in a sour mood, not listening to any telling or praises from the teachers and glaring at the troublesome girls.
That should keep them off my back for a bit.
I was an emotional mess!
My luck is the worst.
I headed to the dojo to burn off some steam and told the old man to spar me at the end so I could go all out.
It was a close draw, attack, deflect, attack, deflect, this dance lasted till the the sparring session was over. I stayed for a bit to burn off the last of my anger on the poor dummies. I wrote an apology letter to the old man and left it on the floor of the main dojo before leaving.
...
The cool breeze brushed past me as it refreshed my sweating face and body.
The coolness on my skin was heavenly after 2 hours of training. Muscles were aching and my internal was dehydrated from lack of water. My stomach was still growling because I haven't had food for the whole day.
During the breaks I just completely lost my appetite watching Yuuta and Natalia get together in their toxic relationship and completely neglecting the fact that other people are around.
I just couldn't eat.
Now walking home I feel nice. Cool air against my face, no friends to worry about, nothing in the world right now that I need to fix.
This is what I want everyday, unfortunately, want is but a word of fantasy.
My guard was completely down so I didn't sense the incoming robots from behind which stalked me from school. Since I wasn't with Yuuta and also walking alone in vulnerable. My stupid self was too relaxed in walking.
A dart came out my way and shot me on the back. Something cold immediately started coming out of the needle end of the dart and went flowing into my blood stream. My body felt and eyes felt heavy as I fell into the arms of my attacker. Frick, my bad luck is truly endless.
