"Okay Mom." She casually said, and absentmindedly started walking towards the house when she bumped into someone.
"Whoa!", she looked up. The man whom she bumped into was her father: her biological father, who was still talking to someone over the phone. She did not bother to disguise the hatred seeping through her eyes at the sight of him. She mumbled a 'sorry' while leaving that place in a rush. She could not stand him. She might as well, leave the place. It was suffocating to encounter that person, who almost ruined her life. She would never forgive him. But now is not the time. Sophie has her own plans, and she has her own. Both of their plans needed time. The more, the better. Revenge is best served cold.
'Enjoy while you can, Andrew Johnson. You can't imagine who is coming for you.', she smiled, but her smile carried the chill, which would raise goosebumps all over one's body.
Robert entered the room only to find her wife smiling. He could understand that something was going through her mind, seeing her sinister smile. "What are you thinking?"
"Oh, you have returned."
"You haven't answered my question."
"Um… There is nothing to answer. By the way, you haven't answered mine either."
"There is nothing to answer", he smiled. Then, they burst out laughing.
"So, has she left?"
"She has."
"Great. Will this create problems for you?"
"I don't know."
"What do you mean?"
"I'm not sure what she wants to do! The media is in uproar. Also, the press conference will be held later, so, the media representatives are not creating a scene. She fears exposure the most. Why would she do this?"
"Maybe, this time she wants exposure."
"How could that be?", he was deep in contemplation.
"She would never want someone to know about her, especially, at this point of time.", he voiced out his concern again. 'Am I wrong?', he thought.
Both of them were deep in thought. Suddenly, the sound of breaking glasses broke their reverie. Both of them lifted their heads to see a lone shocked figure standing at the doorway. That person was shocked beyond words.
"You! You! H… How?", he couldn't utter complete sentences due to shock. He was pointing his finger towards Robert's wife, who looked exactly like Lily, but he knew better. 'How could she be here? She died 7 years ago. I killed her. How could she be alive? Fate must be playing with me.' He cackled suddenly, madly.
Meanwhile, the lady at whom he was pointing, looked at him in shock too. She looked at her husband, only to find him staring at his younger brother, agape. He had clearly no idea that this would happen. Although his wife warned him, he never thought that his brother would come up and find her own his own. He was too shocked himself. 'What's with his reaction? Why is he looking at my wife like that? Are they acquainted?' He could only find the answers to his last questions by looking at their reactions. 'What's going on? Nothing is going right today. How many mess has occurred for me to take care?' Obviously, he did not know that there are many more to come.
