When Oliver heard about Sophie, for one moment, he felt his heart stop. As if the whole universe is silent, every movement has stopped. Complete silence.
He took deep breaths to calm himself. He called his secretary and instructed him to schedule a meeting with the President of Scarlet Inc. The secretary left to make the necessary arrangements.
Oliver sat down on the rattan chair and looked afar. He was so immersed in his thoughts that he couldn't hear his mobile ringing. He lighted a cigarette absentmindedly. Generally, he didn't like to smoke. He smoked only when he needed to calm himself from an emotional turmoil. Being immersed in various thoughts, he didn't notice that the cigarette is burnt up to the butt. A slight pain reminded him that the cigarette is finished. At the same time, Secretary Taylor called. He picked up the call and Secretary Taylor informed him that the meeting was fixed and scheduled for the morning next day at 12 o' clock. He responded with a grunt of approval.

At Scarlett Inc.
Lisa was in a meeting with various department heads. She even forgot to eat her lunch. She was very focused on her work.
"Everyone is dismissed except the planning department.", Lisa rubbed her temple. "Had your lunch?"
"No President.", the planning department head cowered.
"Then come back after lunch. We need to discuss regarding the proposal to the Incoda Technologies. We have s meeting with them tommorow. I need everything to be perfect. So have your lunch. Take a break for a few minutes and come back. You are dismissed."
The head of planning department left. Lisa got up from her seat and headed downstairs.
William and Benedict were waiting for a long time and their patience was running thin. They got up and headed towards the reception to ask Mia about Lisa. They were also famished. They needed to have lunch immediately. They collided with Lisa who was lost in her own world. She got up and glared at the pair of idiotic humans and was just going to curse out loud when she noticed that she collided with Will and Ben. They noticed her glare and Will arched his brows. But Ben opened his mouth first. "Miss Lisa we are extremely sorry. We wanted to meet you but you were very busy so we had no choice but to wait. Now, if you don't mind, can we discuss something with you?" Ben tried to sound extremely polite. But Lisa smiled and said, "There is no need for drama. Mia, note down their names and make sure to escort them to my office whenever these gentlemen comes. Is that clear?"
"Yes President."
"Okay then that's all settled. Let's head for lunch. I'm famished. We can talk there. Come on." Lisa went forward. Will and Ben followed suit. They left the office building and headed towards the nearest restaurant.
Lisa never came to this restaurant as either Max or Jose used to bring food for her everyday without fail. So, this was Lisa's first time in this restaurant. Something about this restaurant felt very familiar to her, though she could not point it out. She did not know why she felt a special connection, a special feel towards this place. She was mesmerized by it's simplicity and elegance. Something about this restaurant makes it stand out among all other restaurant Lisa visited in the past.
While Lisa was gawking at the decoration, the interior design, and everything, Will and Ben placed the order for all three of them. They knew what each of their friend likes. It's not difficult to order food for them. When Lisa turned her attention to the table, she found all her favorite food. "Is someone trying to bribe me?", Lisa mused.
"No.", Both of them answered in unison.
"Speak... Why have both of you come to my office at this hour? Why have you insisted on visiting me? Why have you waited for so long? Is something going on which I should know?"
"Well.... Um..... Actually we are sorry."
"I know."
"Soph. Please... We did not mean to be angry. We were not angry. We were guilty of not being able to save you timely. Had Ed not taken action, we could have lost you. We were very worried. Please forgive us for our behaviour."
"It's okay. Seriously guys, but remember, don't you all dare to keep any secrets from me. If I find out, you guys know the consequences...", Lisa trailed off.
