"Hey, Berry. What did you tell Fu Yung before we left?" Ma Rong asked as he pulled a dress from a rack on a corner. It was a one strap white chiffon dress. As he held it up close, it ended to just below his knees. His eyes stared hard at the dress, with a face full of scrutiny.
"Nothing important." October replied nonchalantly as she walked passed Ma Rong. She went on another rack of dresses of various colors and designs. Her eyes still carried its usual calmness and blankness.
"Oh my. That looks nice, Rong'er. Why don't you try that one?" Mother Song smilingly said with eyes glowing in amusement. She also was looking at a red strapless dress with a black belt and a large diamond at the center that was being worn by a mannequin.
"Geh. Please don't make fun of me, mother." Ma Rong quickly returned the dress back. He sounded quite displeased yet the look he has in his eyes were of reluctance.
