While Marielle was studying in her first class, Jean Paul and her other relatives were in their offices in the family company. Their offices were located in different floors of the company. The family business building was divided like this: the lower floors were the hall, the offices and the different departments. The next floor to these was Jerome's office, the next one was Lorraine's and finally, the company's president, Jean Paul. You could say that each floor was composed of the office and secretarial office of each of Marielle's relatives.
Jean Paul gave a big sigh and touched the button to call his secretary. A few seconds later, a young man with black glasses, dressed in a gray suit, and who was grabbing a digital agenda appeared through the door. He was 27 years old, with blonde hair and green eyes. At his relatively young age he held an important position in the company and was admired by his co-workers. So much that he was nicknamed as the 'knight of the king' for his seriousness in work and loyalty.
-Boss, did you call me? - Asked the newly appeared man while he was adjusting his mostly black glasses.
-Pierre, if I asked you what do you think of the direction in which the world is leading, what would be your answer? - Jean Paul asked without answering his secretary's previous question.
-Could you be more specific? - He asked his boss while he was looking at him seriously.
-My little princess has told me that the world is going from bad to worse and that we should consider hiring some bodyguards. - He explained sighing. He rested his elbows on his table and with them still supported and his hands raised and intertwined with each other, Jean Paul gently rested his head on his hands. Thus adopting a thinking posture. Jean Paul did not take his eyes off his secretary. He was clearly waiting for an answer to his question.
-First, I am glad that Miss Marielle has recovered and that the other day was only a big fright without major consequences.
-Thank you. - He told his secretary with a smile from ear to ear and with that same smile reflected in his eyes.
-About the world... I also believe that the world is going from bad to worse. People are no longer educated in the same way as before. Now pleasing all their whims, or making them stop crying buying or giving them what they asks, has made them very spoiled and has even made many feel superior to other people. The teaching of important values is no longer instilled at home, most parents leave it to the teachers and to the school and that shouldn't be like that. Parents have to instill in them the values with which they will go out into the world. The school should be a place that only helps them expand their knowledge. In the end, all that plus the blows of life, have formed people who deceive themselves, are superficial, absorb themselves in dreams and are very lazy. And many of those people would not mind using violence to achieve their purpose.
Pierre sighed. - Anyway. I think Miss Marielle's suggestion is very good. So far it's a miracle that we have not made fatal enemies with our company expansion and projects. I know that you are a friendly and quite dear family in your circle of friendships, but people's minds are impossible to know fully. - And giving his boss a smile he said. - I'm glad that little Marielle has matured a little bit and tried to wake you up. You were asleep on the laurels, many families have hired bodyguards. Without a doubt, your family is the only one in your social status who has not hired some bodyguards.
-Pierre... - Jean Paul said as he closed his mouth that had opened from the impression. - My friend, it is difficult to see you lose your professionalism in the company. - And after emitting a small cough he said. -Ok, you win, find and make me a report on the best security companies in the country if necessary. I want these to also contain the most important merits of each. The more information the better since I am going to leave my family security in their hands.
-Right away. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll go for some documents that need your signature and then I will get to work.
He didn't wait a minute and left the office to return a few seconds later with a small mountain of papers that he left in front of his employer.
-Why are there so many papers? Normally there are not so many. - Jean Paul said surprised.
-Of course there are more papers than other days. These are the documents that are late and that you need to sign. They are important so I would ask you to sign them as soon as possible.
-True. - Jean Paul coughed furiously to cover his blush. - You can go.
-If you don't need me, I'd better get back to my post. - And after saying this Pierre left the office hiding a smile.
- Young people are... - He expressed shaking his head from side to side.
He looked at the mountain of papers and began reading them one by one prior to signing them or leaving them on another mountain to correct them. He kept working hard until Lorraine and Jerome passed by his office and took him out to eat.

After about eight hours of classes and a little more time for the break between hours, it was finally time to go home.
I got up from the chair and began to collect the materials I used in the class I just finished. Once I put everything in my suitcase, I said goodbye to everyone quietly and shyly. I said goodbye more effusively and with less shyness to the two girls I had started what I would call a friendship, and who sat in front of me. Brigitte, was a young woman with blond hair, brown eyes, with snow-white skin and a cheerful personality. And Camile, was a young woman completely different from Brigitte. Reddish hair, green eyes and caramel colored skin. Camile was also much more serious and reserved. I grined to myself as I remembered how different they were.
After leaving class and the great mechanical beast, as I had nicknamed the elevator, I decided to walk quietly instead of taking the golf cart. I I wanted to enjoy the different gardens, fountains and buildings. I was not in a hurry. My driver would wait for me until I got out of the school.
About thirty minutes and after a long walk, I finally left the institute. I went to the driver who was waiting for me in front of the entrance doors.
-Miss. Come with me, I'll take you where the car is parked.
We went to the parking lot of the school and once the car was found, he opened the door and in the same was as in the morning he waited for me to sit down before going to his place. Then he drived.
"Alphy, don't you think Fleur has much more brains than her parents?"
[Uh? Why are you asking that?] - Asked surprised the ball of purple light while it was looking at me.
"I say this because of her actions in the 'plot'. Fleur knows well the vindictive personality of her 'beloved' parents. And she also knew that she could be a victim of the person who had led them into bankruptcy if he found out about the 'evil' intentions of her parents. So she brainwashed her 'best friend' to make her her substitute in case of danger. She is very cunning, an evil and calculating person, but above all cunning. After all, she escaped from the villain's hands and managed to meet her hubby . "
[I understand, but why are we having this conversation now?] - Asked Alphy.
"No, I just realized her level of calculation. Fleur, deliberately and with bad intention provided opportunities for the two to be kidnapped. What a bad person." I smiled wickedly while I mentally said the last sentence with marked sarcasm. "She is worse than Marla. At least she has more IQ than the latter and she also has the luck conferred by the conscience of the world. I guess Fleur's reasoning would be something like this: 'the sooner everything starts, the sooner it will end'."
[Why do you say she provided opportunities for the kidnappers? If that were true, Fleur would have put herself in danger. Smart people, as you've described her, don't put themselves in danger.]
"She would have some ace up her sleeve. I'm sure she participated passively in the kidnapping by facilitating it. If that is not the case, why would she make Marielle distance herself from her family. Why would she invite her to walk instead of Marielle asking the driver to take them to the sites Fleur proposed. The most interesting thing is that she asked Marielle to go alone and that she sent the driver home. She told her that walking was good for her health and she believed it."
[What a viper! She is a snake with a pretty mask!] - The system said enraged and surprised in equal parts.
"Yes." The conversation ended because the driver said we had already arrived home. I got out of the car, thanked with a small shy smile, and entered the house.
