What is a Mindscape Galaxy?
Wait. Sister?
Her mind raced before putting it together.
"You were also given power by the spirit!"
Kire tilted his head. "Spirit? Is that what it is?"
Bast shrugged. "I think so?"
[...I'm a dragon. And I'm right here.]
They both turned in surprise to look at me.
[Yeah. Hi. Kire you wanna explain how she can start fusing with her elements of... light and fire. Huh. She got the two you don't have. That wasn't intentional, but alright.]
And with that I left.
I stretched out my body as I opened my eyes, turning to look at Korven.
[Let's go.]
Korven looked puzzled. [But... isn't she still vulnerable?]
[Yes.]
[Then why are we leaving?]
I shrugged. [I guess... it's up to her form here on. I can't be here to help, she has to take the steps to recover from recent events on her own. I can support her, and now I have given the best support I can think of. The rest is up to her.]
And with that I began to walk away, Korven following as we walked through the forest.
[Luckily orcs dislike direct sunlight a great deal, so we're probably okay for now. Ogres will still kill us if we run across one.]
I turned to look at him. [What does an ogre look like?] An image of Shrek flashed across my mind.
[Giant scaly behemoths with no eyes and their entire head is a mouth.]
[...]
'HOLY SHIT! WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS WORLD?!'
~ ~ ~
After a bit of explanation in regards to Kire saying how he came to have the power of the dragon somehow...
"So... I SHOULDN'T just let the magic flow into me, and fuse with my flesh?"
Bast looked doubtful.
Kire nodded. "You want to control it so a very tiny stream enters you, or else you'll explode. Trust me. See that little planet thing over there?"
Kire froze. "Actually do you know what a planet is?"
Bast scowled. "Of course I do! Just like a northerner to assume I wouldn't know anything!"
"I'm just asking cause I didn't until I picked it up during the connection with this place."
Bast froze.
"Oh." She cleared her throat. "Upon further thought I... can't remember where I learned that. So you might have a point."
Kire smiled bemusedly. "Alright well... I gotta go, cause I'm pretty sure Zanna is gonna freak out... if she hasn't already." A sudden look of concern flashed over his face.
"Ooh? A lady friend? Someone you're courting?"
Kire blushed. "No! It's not like that!"
He turned away.
"I think." He muttered.
Bast leans dover his shoulder, habits from taking care of the children showing through. "Hmmm?"
"Bye! Don't die!" Kire fled into his planet and disappeared into its center.
Bast moves between the fire and light clouds.
Air above the star, earth below, fire to the left and water to the right, with light in front.
So Kire's planet was to the upper right of the star a bit further out than the clouds, while Bast was currently standing to the front-left a bit further out.
'Fire... heat. My body holds heat, my muscles move and my blood pumps. My movement is friction, energy, heat. Fire is strength by fusion magic the legends say, and my strength is my muscles.'
'Light is life, growth. Every part of me grows and replaces itself as it heals and dies, as I grow. I am alive, no matter what happens.'
Bast stared into the star with determination. "No matter what happens to me, what is done to me, I won't give up. I am alive, and I will always fight."
"We will always fight."
'Because now we are together.'
And the magic came for her.

Hours later Bast opened her eyes to the evening sky above.
Finally she grunted. "Ow."
She lifted herself up only to freeze.
Their was a crater of molten rock around her.
The trees were cinder, and stones in the distance had pockmarks as if stabbed by many spears!
'...Kire was NOT kidding about the environment suffering for lack of control.'
Of course the land around Bast suffered a lot more damage than Kire's room had, but that's because she had no time to get used to controlling magic, unlike him, you'd had over a month of feeling it inside him.
She stood up, and clenched a fist as flames began to burn on it.
"I'm going to rip off your penis and burn it before your eyes Jonathan."
"But first..."
She turned about, trying to figure out which way she came from.
She let out a pulse of light magic and felt which grasses and branches had been snapped in the distance.
"Mmm... that looks right." She set off that way, and after using light magic like sonar for damaged plants, she finally found it.
She stared at her father's corpse... what was left of it.
Chewed and many strips cut off and eaten by orcs, with a leg ripped off and tossed aside with no meat left.
His entire arm was just gone.
She slowly walked towards him and kneeled.
Bast kneeled there, and spoke a few private words, a prayer from the tribe her mother had taught her, and then spoke to the spirit of her father as best she could last the tears choking her up.
Finally she bowed her head... and burned the body.
Burying wouldn't stop predators from finding it and digging it up. She wouldn't let anymore desecration happen to his body.
Finally she stood up, and looked at the darkening sky above.
'The orcs will come out again soon...'
She looked around until she found the bow tossed aside during the fall, along with the spear and quiver. The arrows were scattered all about.
Spear of the father, bow of the mother.
She slowly looked at herself and her nude state.
"...yeah this is awkward."
She wasn't cold, too much fire now flowed in her for that, but... dammit she wasn't a pervert! She doesn't want to show off her breasts to the orcs before she kills them!
She looked about as she gathered the arrows, spotting the trail the horse had left behind as it ran away.
'Father should have packed a few clothes in the saddlebags, he always was smart like that...'
She forced down the tide of emotions. She wasn't over anything. But she could keep focusing on the next thing to do, and then the next, and the next. One step at a time.
'I just need to find Junior.'
So she set off after the horse.
