Chapter 6 - The Departure Of The Chiro From The Altar Village

As a result of my brother's actions I became living in misery in the village I was ostracized because of my brother's actions,

"Day after day I passed and the food supply was almost gone"

"Since my brother was kicked out of the village, I can't sell my handicrafts"

"I'm starting to run out of mind because many of the residents don't want to buy my handmade craft"

"All this is because if you never find the book, maybe all this will never happen"

"Damn, I'm so confused by what I'm facing right now"

"Should I just stop selling my handmade crafts, after all, no one wants to buy it?"

"But if I stop, what should I do?"

I can't believe that her brother became a murderer because of that mysterious book.

"I really can't believe that brother became a murderer"

"Now that you have been kicked out of the village, what should I do?"  Chiro asked himself.

"What should I do?

Chiro started to get confused

"Do I have to leave this village? ... but if I go where will I go?"

"Ahh ... damn what should I do? ... maybe I better think about it again"

"Come to think of it, maybe I'd better go, if you can be strong because of the magic of the book, then I'll try to be strong in my own way"

And after Chiro thought he finally made up his mind to go and find strength so he could save his brother from the magic book.

"I will go to bring my brother back to the right path, but before that I have to be strong so that I can defeat him other than that so he wants to listen to me"

Then Chiro left with little food, he didn't know where he was going but he had a goal, which was to wake up his brother and put him back on the right path.

"It has been two days since the food I brought out was very hungry."

"I'm not going any further"

"I can't walk anymore"

"I started to think if I would starve to death in a place I didn't know the name of the place"

"I-I-I can't walk anymore, maybe I'll die in this place"

Because Chiro could no longer walk, he collapsed and when he passed out there was an old man who was twining while carrying a horse who happened to see someone lying there.

"Who is that person, is he dead, or is he unconscious?"

Then the old man approached Chiro who was fainting.

"Hmm, I'd better bring her first if she is passed out maybe she will wake up soon"

And while on the journey Chiro started calling his brother's name.

"Hmm, I thought he just fainted, fortunately I brought him, if I didn't bring him maybe he would be dead"

Chiro who was delirious finally got up and when he realized he was riding a horse and he was very surprised.

"W-w-what, I'm riding a horse"

I do not know who has delayed me.

"Ah, you are aware, apparently"

The grandfather asked the chiro.

"Who are you, why am I with you." ask myself.

"You fainted and I took you with me"

"Are you hungry"

Asked the grandfather to me.

"He handed me a loaf of bread."

"Instead of me dying of starvation I'd better eat this grandfather anyway, it looks like he wants to help me."

"I'm very curious about this grandfather who he really is."

The question kept ringing in my head I wanted to ask.

"Should I just ask?"

"Who exactly is this grandfather?" I ask.

"I'm just a wanderer."

The grandfather answered  I don't think he will answer my question.

"A wanderer?"

Is it better if I ask if he can fight.

"Can you fight?"

Grandfather just paused.

He did not answer my question.

And night has come, the sun is slowly sinking, and as the moon begins to appear, the sky is getting darker and begins to feel cold in the middle of the desert.

Then the old man stood up and took the firewood in his horse.

Then he lit the firewood and the atmosphere which had been very cold slowly became warm because of the fire that burned the wood.

Then the old man fell silent while staring at the campfire.

I, who had not been satisfied with the answers in my grandfather, again asked.

"Can you fight?"

This time the grandfather answered.

"Yes, I can fight"

I'm still curious why the old man was silent and stared at the campfire earlier.

"Should I just ask?"

I asked in my heart. I'd better just ask.

"Why did grandfather fall silent" I ask.

"No, I just thought why did you ask if I could fight"

The grandfather replied, staring at the campfire.

Then soon the grandfather returned to answer my question.

"I used to be a hitman, because at that time I was experiencing an economic crisis and that's what made me a hitman."

I was very surprised to hear the answer to the grandfather.

Is he really a contract killer then can he still

kill now? Is the killer's instinct still in him?

"Hmm, I'd better not ask anyway, I'm not too curious about his past"

"Can you teach me to dance?"

"What for?"

Asked the grandfather

"Just in case"

"Do you have any other intentions?"

The grandfather's question surprised me.

"Does he know that I have another intention?"

As if the grandfather could read my mind, maybe it's better that I calm my mind down so that it doesn't look surprised.

"N-n-no, I have no other goal."

"Really." My answer.

"Alright, I'll teach you how to fight"

The grandfather answered    With pleasure I return to asking.

"When did you start teaching me to fight?"

"I don't know, I don't think I'm ready to teach you right now."

The answer of the grandfather seemed to make me discouraged.

"Then when?" I keep asking.

"If you are ready to fight" Grandfather's answer confused me.

"I'm ready"  My answer.

"No you're not ready."

The grandfather answered

"Eh, what do you mean by grandfather, I'm not ready."

"You must first be able to control your emotions first."

"Controlling emotions? What is the relationship between fighting and controlling emotions?"

I answered because I thought controlling emotions had nothing to do with fighting anyway I knew that fighting was only based on strength.

"I thought you didn't know anything about fighting."

"Let me explain the fight not only rely on strength."

Said the grandfather and then the grandfather explained what was the right way to fight while listening to the grandfather I looked at the campfire in front of me.

"If you fight only by strength the chances of you winning are very small"

"Then how to fight properly." I asked the grandfather

"You have to control your emotions besides that you also have to devise a strategy so that when fighting know what to do."

"Isn't it when you fight you only have to attack and defend?"My answer

"No, not only that." Decisive grandfather

"When you want to attack do you not think which part to attack?

"Huh, of course I know that." My answer

"That is what is called a strategy and so is the defense"

Obviously the grandfather now I think I can better understand what the grandfather meant, then the grandfather continued his words.

"Besides that you also have to be fast when attacking so that your movements cannot be read by the enemy and so is your defense."

"Hmm, is this what you mean by fighting instead of just relying on strength?"

"That's right, aside from being fast, you also need to be able to balance your body movements so that it doesn't stiff when attacking the defender."

"Is there still much more I need to know before I learn to fight? "I ask.

"Yes, besides that, you also have to be able to control your body's reflexes so that when someone attacks you from behind, you can avoid or fend off their attacks, if I can, you can reverse the attacks."

"Is that all?" Connect me.

"I thought that's all."

"You will understand better if you can fight later."

Without me realizing it turned out that the campfire that had been lit now was dead and that night was very cold.

Then the grandfather told me to sleep.

"It's better you sleep this late at night and tomorrow I will teach you to fight."

Hearing the words of the grandfather I was very happy he finally wanted to teach me to fight, well after all I was sleepy I'd better sleep now.
