"I swear to you, that I am not crazy whatsoever. Now that is not to say that I don't have my moments where I do not seem so, but those are few and far between. Is this one of those moments? No, its not for this has been going on for a long time. On my mother's own name I promise that what I saw truly was there. Evenings, day after day it stood there with unwavering eyes. The blinds that hid its ghastly figure only further pronounced its deformed human-esque features. It stood in a domineering manner as it stared, and stared. I had noticed it at first from the corner of my eye. At that time I had not truly seen its figure as it was late at night. Unsure of if I had really seen anything, I turned my head and there it was, the Silhouette. In the silence of the night I slowly waved to it with an uneasy smile as beads of sweat began rolling down, slowly, ever so slowly down mu face. For a moment I swear, it moved, I could see the visage of a demon smiling with eager, dagger-like teeth. As fast as I could I dashed for the switch to turn on the light. In a bright flash, the light was on. Yet, it remained! In fact it was as though it had gotten closer, close enough to the point that it could touch my window. 'tap, tap,' it sounded, 'Tap Tap!' The sound echoed down into the deepest chasm of my psyche! I reasoned to myself, 'Surely it was just the wind! or maybe it was a few droplets of rain!' Even while these thoughts collided with one another its unsettled figure stood still. I tried! I truly tried returning to bed once more, but I could not. After all, who could sleep while the eyes of Satan himself watched on? His featureless face waiting and waiting, waiting for the moment to pounce on his prey. Ohhh! But oh! Why not turn off the light once again? Simple, because what if. What if! What if the demon Silhouette entered, would I be able to stop it? Rather could I? Trembling I dragged my fond memories up from the abyss that was my shaken mind, repeating them over and over and over again! But this was to no avail. 'Thud!' it sounded, like a beating drum my heart responded in correspondence. Please! and why? Those thoughts rushed out from my dry throat. It! It was Everywhere! My articles of clothing, the television, the recliner! They all mirrored the Silhouette. Smiling with its horrid deformities, a broken back! An extended neck, leaking a slow viscous liquid of black! Its Long legs that seemed to have remnants of other's terrified faces, and arms that seemed sharp enough to behead any creature. Yet, with all this, all it did was watch. And watch. And watch! Seconds felt like minutes! Minutes like Hours! When? Oh! When would it attack? And with a thought it vanished. It returned to where it had come, But, at the same time it had not. It left behind its memory, and that's all it had to do. From then on I could feel it! Behind me its arms would scrape my skin as its neck wrapped around my own. I'd turn around and like magic it was gone. From above its eyes tracked me, its legs would run after me as the others it had taken screamed in pain and worry. Why!? Why me? Night after night, day after day, 'Tap, Tap, Tap, ta-..."
