Sun rays touched her face.
Vanessa got up from the bed fast. She prepared herself.
She heard some explosion happening nearby so she rapidly went to Raliz bedroom. When she opened the door, she saw no one there.

" Raliz concentrate!" Serpent scolded Raliz after Raliz missed her target.
Serpent is teaching Raliz new skills. One of them was Energy Blast. Energy Blast is one of the most basic part in learning skills. When casting a skill or spell usually takes time and focus.
By learning Energy Blast, Raliz could learn how to channel the energy of everything into her body. It will also help her mind get strong and more focus.
Energy Blast is one of the basic skills. Any one could do it. But what Serpent is teaching was no ordinary, it was an improved Energy Blast.
Because it is basic, it will not caused much of Raliz's mana.
It depends on the owner how much mana she or he will give.
Raliz missed the boulder 7 times now. She still couldn't hit it.
" Serpent are you sure I could hit that boulder that far?" Raliz asked.
" Of course you can. Now, Concentrate!" Serpent said strictly.
Raliz was tired right now. They'd started training at midnight and now it's like seven in the morning and they're still training.
Raliz inhale. She thought it was impossible to hit the boulder in that distance. The Boulder was a kilometer away from her. Only at Grandmaster Level could hit it.
Although, Raliz was still Zero Level, her physical abilities could be compared of a human at Master Level.
But it's still not enough. Serpent also said that by doing this, it will improves her accuracy in her Long range attacks, it can sharpen her mind and it can help her to concentrate her power.
She closed her eyes. She tried to connect herself to everything with Energy. Power concentrated in her right hand.
Right now, she was serious. There's only one thing in her mind right now. And that's... destroying the boulder.
The raw surging power in Raliz hand was starting to take shape. Last time, when she gathered energy, it was so messed up and the light it gave was a little dimmed.
This time, it was very smooth. Serpent felt an incredible Energy surging. The Energy became a very smooth Sphere of power. It was brighter than before but the light is still.
The light was wierd. It didn't spread everywhere. It was very concentrated.
Raliz pointed it at the boulder up ahead. In her vision, the boulder was like a grain of the sand.
She let go of the power and then it flew very fast. Serpent only saw a line!
Then a very loud explosion echoed around the area.
Many Creatures was disturbed in that attack. Some are caught in the explosion and died. Announcements rang in Raliz head.
" Was it too much?" Raliz asked.
She killed 15 Creatures in that strike. There are only 3 kinds of them.
" You've killed a Creature. Warrior Level: Fungus Beast. Rewards: 80 Spirit Energies."
" You've killed a Creature. Elite Level: Fungus Beast. Rewards: Loot: Poison Arrow. 90 Spirit Energies.
" You've killed a Creature. Elite Level: Tree Gecko. Rewards: 110 Spirit Energies."
" You've killed a Creature. Elite Level: Earth Crusher. Rewards: 110 Spirit Energies.
Raliz killed 2 Elite Level: Fungus Beast and 3 Warrior Level: Fungus Beast. For the total of five. She also received a loot from one of the Elite Level: Fungus Beast. Getting one made Raliz happy. 3 Warrior Level: Fungus Beast gave her 240 Spirit Energies. 2 Elite Level: Fungus Beast gave her 180 Spirit Energies.
So all Fungus Beasts gave her in a total of 420 Spirit Energies. Not much but good.
Raliz also killed 5 Tree Geckos and 5 Earth Crushers that are all at Elite Level. They gave her 1,100 Spirit Energies. Plus, from the Fungus Beasts, she earned 1,520 Spirit Energies. Now that's a lot. But those Tree Geckos and Earth Crushers didn't gave her a loot.
Right now her total Spirit Energies are 13, 420!
Just a little more and she'll level up.
Raliz and Serpent went to the place where the explosion happened. The place was a good example of destruction. All were completely ruined and charred.
Raliz didn't got a chance to see the Creatures she'd killed.
They went back to the tent. Along the way, Raliz found a dying Deer. She was about to kill it but the Deer suddenly collapsed and died itself.
Raliz and Serpent didn't know what was the cause of death of the deer. The Deer didn't looked like have been poisoned.
Serpent also checked on the Dead deer and fortunately, it was safe to cook it.
Vanessa saw Raliz and Serpent coming.
" Raliz... Woah! Breakfast! Good job. I'll cook it right away." Vanessa said while heading to the kitchen.
Raliz followed. She placed the Deer on a table. Vanessa held a butcher knife then she cut the Deer piece by piece.
Raliz watched Vanessa cut and cooked the Deer. Vanessa moved like a professional chef.
An hour later, a wafting smell covered the tent.
Raliz was drooling looking at the cooked Deer's meat. It looks delicious.
" Dig in." Vanessa said.
Raliz took a piece of meat and put it into her mouth. Her face was shocked. Then replaced by a smile of satisfaction.
" This is... The most Delicious dish I've ever tasted! So delicious! Mmm..." Raliz enjoyed eating. Vanessa took some pieces as well.
Raliz ravenously indulging the meat while Vanessa was still composed. She eats like a royalty. Proper etiquette was very well presented.
Raliz seeing Vanessa eats in that way, she felt embarrassed. Of course, Raliz knew how to eat properly and what are the proper etiquette because she was also practiced by her Grandpa.
She just couldn't controlled herself this time because of hunger.
A while later, Raliz Gem beeped rapidly. She summoned it and saw many red dots surrounding her Green dot.
It means, they are surrounded by Creatures.
" We are surrounded. Get ready." Raliz acted immediately.
Vanessa was startled.
They immediately summoned their Battle suits and Garments.
" Sh*t... I didn't even got to finish eating. Darn this Monsters. Get ready to summoned the tent back, Vanessa."
Vanessa nodded.
" On three... one... two... three... go!"
Vanessa summoned back her tent into her Pouch.
Raliz looked around. Many monsters and Creatures surrounded them.
" Why are they here?" Raliz asked in confusion.
Vanessa think about what Raliz said.
She finally knew it. The Deer she cooked! It was too aromatic, it even attracted these Creatures.
" Raliz, I think I knew it now." Vanessa said. Raliz turned to looked at Vanessa.
" The Deer..." Vanessa said making a clue to Raliz. Raliz understood.
" Yeah you're right. It makes sense, though. Your cooking is the best." Raliz complimented.
" Thank you." Vanessa said in appreciation.
" Your welcome. Now lets kill them all."
Raliz was going to use her Energy Blast but someone just appeared above all the Creatures.
Raliz looked at the man. Raliz eyes bulged.
Aldrin!
" Found You..." He said.
Then his body suddenly radiated a white light blinding all Creatures near him.
Raliz and Vanessa covered their eyes. Slashes could be heard anywhere.
After a minute, the place became silent. Raliz opened her eyes. Her face was in awe. They were just surrounded by hundreds of Creatures but now blood and dead bodies are laying on the ground.
She looked at the figure in front of her. Suddenly, three more figures appeared.
Black Knight, Harry and Wizardo are here too.
" I knew it, it was them. That smell? Mm-mm... It means one person, The princess ." Harry said.
Vanessa blushed when the four guys kneeled in front of him.
" Come on, guys. No need to bow down, please."
The four men stood up, Aldrin turned around and looked at Raliz. Raliz eyes met his then both of them started to blushed.
Harry noticed what happened between the two.
" Psst... Aldrin. Say hi to her." Harry said.
Aldrin looked at him coldly. Harry sighed.
" Hi. Raliz. Looking red today. Are you wearing make up?" After he said that, an incoming fist appeared in his face.
Raliz was furious.
" You bastard!"
Raliz fist came contact in Harry's face. A fist mark appeared.
Harry flew into the air like the ones in the cartoons.
Raliz composed herself then looked at them.
" Oh, hi guys. Why are you here?" Raliz asked them.
" Uhmmm..." Wizardo hesitated. " It's my mom, isn't it?" Vanessa knew it. She knew that her overprotective mom ordered them to watched over her.
" Yes, your majesty. The Queen ordered us to watch over you. But we failed. We're very sorry. We will accept any punishment." The Black Knight said, sincerely.
" What? Silly you. What do you mean?" Vanessa asked.
" When you entered the first layer of the forest, we were watching you." Wizardo said.
" That's why I felt someone was looking at us." Raliz entered.
" And when you went into the pillar, you've disappeared as well as Raliz. We couldn't track you down. We thought we lost you." Aldrin continued the story.
Someone appeared. Harry while holding his swelling face said, " We searched for the two of you. We arrived at the Second layer of the forest. Until today, we smelled something very nice and delicious. And there's only one person that could do that delicious aroma. It's you, Princess." Harry said in a complimenting tone.
Vanessa smiled in appreciation.
" Thank you. You're very loyal but this is my journey. You don't have to protect me. I can protect myself. Now, go back to the castle." Vanessa said and ordered them.
The guys hesitated. They don't want to disobey the order of the Queen. Then Raliz spoke.
" Actually, Vanessa. I need to tell you that if just us, we're not strong enough. We need them to protect you. We need more men."
Vanessa looked at Raliz. Then her face looked sad but suddenly became vibrant.
" Ok. Fine. Maybe, my power is not powerful enough so I decided to... invite you four as our new teammates." Vanessa decided.
Raliz didn't expected that Vanessa would said that. She was dumbfounded.
