Overwhelmed by the sheer weight of her emotions, Diana felt herself faint and slowly collapsed to the floor.
Ken just managed to catch her fall. In one swift motion, he picked Diana up in his arms and rushed her to a doctor.
The news that Brian was awake soon spread around the William family.
"What?" Simon William shouted down the phone. He was giddy with excitement.
"What happened?" asked Mrs. Garcia.
"Brian has woken up!" replied Simon. He ran out of the room at once to go and see his son.
Mrs. Garcia was left alone in the room. Her own reaction to the news about Brian was almost exactly the opposite of Simon's. She immediately called Kyle to inform him of the news.
Kyle was exasperated. He would have been the president if Brian hadn't woken up!
When Simon arrived at the hospital, Kate was already there, but she didn't look happy.
"What happened?" Mr. William asked.
Mrs. Grace didn't answer but burst into tears.
