crying, begging for release;
Days, weeks, months, years,
O death, take me now.
Body numbing, so cold,
a scream unheard;
Pure agony, but no movements,
please let me go!
Dark, shapeless figures stand,
clawing wantonly, stealing my sanity;
Dragging me down, hellfire abound,
when will it end?
Gasping, jolting forward,
wild eyes taking in my room;
A dream, a nightmare,
or a premonition?
