This novel was written when DotA2 when in patch 7.26. (Outpost and stuff patch.)
At first, I wrote this series as a way to train my writing skills for my exams.
I give myself thirty minutes to write a 500-word chapter and publish it, yet after a few chapters, I could not keep up with the pressure and stopped writing.
Before today I never thought that this series would be finished because, after my exams, there is no reason for me to finish Two Stack anymore.
But I did, and it was for the love of DotA2.
I did not start out from DotA1, I haven't even heard about DotA2 until I listened to the DotA2 parody song "Rude" by fwosh five years ago.
I searched up DotA2 and thought that it was actually pay to win (I wasn't a very smart kid back then, but if you add the battlepass...) fast forward two years and my longtime friend introduced me to DotA2 because he and this other friend need a support player. (As usual, every friend you drag into DotA2 will be your support.)
So I played and liked it… it was weird… I didn't really get flame but I know I really sucked because at one point I reached 100MMR.
Those were the times that most people give up, I should too. At that time I can't queue rank with my friends and everyone sucked at that bracket.
But I keep on playing… Fast forward again to this year and I'm a 1.8k scrub lord. (Still suck thought)
I'm quitting DotA2.
My friend that introduced me still plays till this day but he now plays at night and is almost divine (No, I don't have my account boosted by him. He played turbo on my account once and fucking lost. Noob ancient boi XD)
The passion for DotA2 for me is currently dead, I still watch the pro scene but I don't play anymore. (Well at this time of writing I still go into the game to test things out for the novel)
What this means is that there will not be any novel related to DotA2 anymore from me.
I planned the next novel to be SEA Captain: A DotA2 Story and the one about the SEA Games, but you know passion, school, and stuff. (Mostly passion)
But if one day I found my passion again, be ready for the adventures of Azel Mampusti and SEA Hope. :D
If you actually like my novel, there are references to my other novel "After School Tuition Centre" that was about five teens going to a tuition center, so if you want to laugh you know where to look.
My final word to you is to treasure this game, I don't know when will DotA2 die. So treasure every game you play and try not to be toxic.
I know that most of my readers are from SEA, I am also a SEA player so let's chang SEA from the most toxic sever to the best server.
Goodbye and…
Thank you for reading Two Stack: A DotA2 Story.
