Klaus turned his head and looked at the same cluster of branches Elias was looking. Klaus didn't see anything but understood his friend had a better sense of the hunt than he did. Klaus waited for Elias to take action, but his friend remains still. Klaus strained his ears and tried to listen for anything that might indicate when his prey would be, but he, of course, heard nothing. There was the sound of wind in his ears, and the feeling of cold mud slathered on his body but otherwise.
Klaus was surprised that he did not hear even the usual background sound of an owl screeching or pitter-patter the smaller animals made as they moved across the forest floor in the dark.
Elias looked at the cluster of branches where the wolf child lay but knew they would not be able to get closer without alerting their prey to their presence. Elias got the attention of Klaus and made a hand signal that the wold child was in the tree by pointing at the tree and then hold in a finger in front of his mouth. Klaus nodded, so Elias knew he had understood the message.
Elias slowly crept forward, and Klaus followed still confused as to how they were going to get the wolf child out of his nest. Elias made careful footprints and made sure to avoid the leaves and stick in his way, and Klaus tried to do the same until he stepped on a twig earning him a glare from Elias. Both of them were now under the wolf child. Elias looked at Klaus, unsure if he should use his magic, but after seeing there was no other safe way to bring the wolf child down, he decided to try out a little telekinesis.
Elias reached out his hand toward the tree branches above, and as if pulling a thread, a small form was dragged from the branches above them. Klaus was no stranger to magic and knew his friend had once again used the arcane arts but decided to ignore it until after his father chose not to kill him.
The small form stunned by the sudden movement was still amazed on the ground, but Elias knew that would end quickly and so drew a fireball into his and but chanting Incendia. The silver fire coalesced into the palm of his right hands and threw a white shadow on to the right side of his face giving him a menacing look.
Elias held out his flame entrenched hand to have a better look at their prey. What Elias saw was a skinny kid around his age, but he was much bonier than Elias, which was saying something. Elias had a very thin physic for a Nord. The boy also seemed to be wearing nothing more then rags, almost as if he had been kept in captivity for an extended period. What shocked Elias the most was his eyes. Though the boy was his age, he seemed to have seen things no person should because they appeared to be devoid of anything.
Klaus, who was still shocked by the sudden appearance of silver fame, was caught unawares when the skinny beast child recovered and decided to tackle him. Klaus let loose a throaty scream and met the beast boys tackle but was knocked off his feet and thrown into the nearest tree. Elias looked at his hurt friend and knew he had to act, but he felt it was wrong to use his flames on the poor boy.
After throwing Klaus, the wolf child decided to try and tackle Elias next. So his surprisingly quick boney form ran toward Elias at inhuman speeds. Elias, who had faster reflexes after his small transformation in Erik's hut, could see the wolf child approaching fast and so activated something instinctual inside him. A strange power welled up, and something apart from his but separate from him appeared after a burst of black flames. Elias looked at the form that stepped out of the dark flames while the young werewolf stopped his charge cautious as to what this warlock had up his sleeves.
Out of the flames stepped a familar form, Elias saw the werewolf he had killed when he and his father were attacked. The werewolf seemed more dangerous than the one he fought as it carried black engraved armor, and its eyes shone with a strange and unnerving blue light. Its voice was equally weird as if finally spoke bowing before Elias. "What are your orders, master." Elias's once enemy spoke with a strange echoed voice.
