Zeri gently pressed the wet towel on Kira's forehead. Her face still looked repentant as he looked at him.
"I'm sorry," she uttered and Kira half-smiled with his eyes closed.
"Why are you apologizing again?" he replied, sounding displeased.
"Because I dragged you to that crowded place."
When Kira opened his eyes, he saw that she looked guilty. He frowned as he lifted his hand, and pinched her nose. "I purposely let you drag me because I am curious about that marching band as well. So stop looking like an apologetic mushroom now." He sighed and just like that, Zeri's face lit up. Kira was also surprised at how easily she switched gears.
She even smiled at him and threw back her hair and looked at the sky.
"I didn't know that dates are this fun…" she said. "Thank you for bringing me here, even though you didn't enjoy it as much as I do."
