After a while of walking, I finally arrived at my destination which is the guild.
I stood in front of the door and I readied my self before going inside.
After, checking and fixing my self up, I finally held the handles of the large door with both of my hands and opened it.
Unlike the usual scene I was expecting to see, the people inside is more crowded and noisier than ever.
I'm sure that the guild was not like this before I went to take a task and went outside... - I muttered in my mind.
I looked around as I continued to walk inside.
There are some new unfamiliar faces I couldn't recognize. As I looked at the new faces that I couldn't recognize, they also looked back at me with confused looks on their faces, while the ones that already know me only ignored my presence.
I tried to ignore the new gazes that are directed at me and continued to walk towards the receptionists desk where Diana-san and the other receptionist-sans are at.
I tried to fit my self to the little space in the crowd where I could pass into to get to where Diana-san is.
[ Oh! Haruto-kun? ]
As I get closer, the currently busy Diana-san immediately noticed me.
[ Ye-Yes...! ] I replied while still trying to get closer.
After a while of enduring and competing with the crowd, I finally manage to get in the front.
I then waited for the last guy in front of me to finish, and not another minute later, he finally walked away and it's now my turn to deal with Diana-san.
[ Haruto-kun... are you here to complete your task? ] she asked with a tired-looking face.
[ Aa, I just finished, I immediately came here after. ]
[ Is that so...? then, please put your goods here. ] saying so, Diana-san took out a glass plate and placed it to the desk in front of us two.
[ Just the fangs, right? ]

I then took out the fangs I stored in my pocket and place it on the plate on top of the desk.

[ Well, just after you leave the guild this morning, a few number of Royal Knights suddenly came and posted something on the board and it caused every adventurer in the city to gather and come here. ] she said while pointing at the board at the corner of the room where it's most crowded.
I wonder what task they've put in there... Everyone seems very interested on it.
[ ...What does it says...? ] I asked in curiousity.
[ Well, it seems like that the Royal Knights are recuiting both adventurers and mercenaries from different cities to help them subjugate a large number of wyverns that will most likely invade the capital in a month or two. ]
[ ...Re-Really!? ] I exclaimed in surprise.
Wyverns...? If I remember correctly, they are some kind of dangerous monsters that looks like a smaller version of a dragon.
In games, they're sure don't come close to the power of that of a real dragon, but with enough amount of number, they can do as much damage.
[ Ah! That's right! It also seems that this particular event is the reason Yugo-san and Katherine-sama have been suddenly called over at the capital. ]
[ Ahh! Now that you mention it... Yugo-san especifically said to me that the Royal Knights has summoned the two of them to the capital. ]
[ Hmm...? Is that so...? Then it will be most likely that they will be one of the people that will lead this subjugation. ]

If my memory is correct, Yugo-san said that Katherine-san is one of the captains of the Royal Knights, which now that I think about, is pretty amazing.

[ Well... I'm not paricularly interested in any award they might give or in promoting my rank but... I have heard that there are heroes living there at the capital... Are they going to join too? ]
[ I don't know... but from what I've heard... the heroes that were summoned to the royal palace are still training as they only got summoned here five months ago. I've actually heard rumors saying that the heroes still doesn't know how to either fight or use their powers yet. ]
Don't know how to fight... or even use their powers...? they sound like a bunch of weaklings...
I hope that that's not true...
I hope that Claire at least summoned someone who knows how to fight... It would be a waste if the gifts she refused to give me would just going be wasted by a bunch of normies...

There are many reasons I can think of why I should join, but a big part of those reasons is because I want to know how do I compare with the heroes the Goddess summoned...
I'm expecting they're stronger as they've already been summoned here for about 5 months now. I think they have the advantage, but still, I trust my own unknown strength.
