"We demand to know the truth!"
The royal elders and the palace officials were demanding to hear the truth from the king's mouth.
The rumors about the crown prince reached their ears but they treated it as a fluke before. However, when they heard that the king was keeping the great herald inside the palace greatly alarmed them.
"Is it true that you captured the great herald and that you are keeping her inside the palace?" One of the elders asked.
"Did you interrogate her about the widespread rumor? Is it true?" Another said.
Some groups were already discussing about it until the hall was filled with mutterings.
"She needs to be interrogated according to the law. If she's lying, then she must die!" One of the king's official exclaimed. The king looked at the man who lit the fire and just as expected, it was one of Shadrach's pawn.
