Chapter 126 - Personal Look Inside 2 [82]

"need me your majesty?" Parma asked as she quietly closed the door to avoid any unnecessary noises

The king went back to his desk and offered her a seat, for an enclosed room located underground it wasn't hot in there. No windows were built unless you wanted to look at rocks everyday, the interior design of the large basement was brutalistic and if you haven't been to architecture school then the basement was basically concrete everywhere, the pain of feeling the sand paper like walls could drive people insane but no, if you were to feel it, it would feel like they were painted with invisible paint and that you only saw the concrete walls. The design choice of the basement wasn't all that bad but if you look closely enough you'd find that it is literally just concrete. ©I said that last part sarcastically, the last part was from a guy I saw on discord®

"you've connected with that man right?" the king asked but his voice didn't have much of a tone as if he already knew that she was going to agree with him no matter what

"yes, do you need his memories?"

The king only needed to nod once and Parma already began without hesitation. Just one finger or even a toe would suffice, Parma tapped the king's forehead and thus began the transfer. The king didn't need his entire memory inside him so just a simple share of view was enough, images, dreams, emotions immediately got inside his head but he wasn't affected by any of it.

"(!!!) I'll be damned" the king mumbled in utter shock, even if it was a quiet mumble it carried an obvious emotion of shock or wow

"I know... I was surprised as well but his mind and emotions wanted to hide it so~ I didn't tell you"

"it's fine, I'll see the rest anyways" he replied

The king continued to dig deeper into Ferris, everything was played to him inside his mind at blazing speed until that particular scene. It suddenly blacked out, then what seemingly a new life began playing. He watched and felt, he watched again and felt again then it stopped, everything completely frozen.

"the most important person in all of Old shack's history, the person on why Old shack is the msot powerful guild on this continent.... If it weren't for his death this country would've suffered quite a few damages.... But why, he died and there was a new life again? I don't see or feel any evil intentions... Sabaoth" he said to himself

"I don't know your majesty but what's important is that he is alive"

All of his life's information was vivid to the king and with astounding accuracy, but one thing was not to be seen, felt or known about as if it purposely hid itself and only showed itself to Ferris only. Everything from the transition of going into a grinding ticket area, the mere movement of his hands using the system, every system mob he killed, every food he baught, every move, thought and sight relating to the system was invisible and were filled with a well made fake memory that didn't happen at all.

Why? Why would the system go to such lengths in order to hide itself, it's safe to say that no one knows even Ferris himself doesn't know it's true intentions.

(keep him alive but for now continue with the mission, bring him along but keep him safe at all cost..... "yes your majesty")

"oh? How does it feel to have a small army inside your shadow, honestly... We should really teach them the concept of thinking for themselves instead of being tools to be used by others" Parma said as she sighed while playing with a random pen she found on the desk

"What was that!" one of that generals shouted

"I don't know, it just bounced.. well atleast the majority of the demon army is burning so atleast it's not in vain" one of the generals replied

As the generals were arguing, Artria instantly felt a presence. Unlike the rest of the demons, it was slowly walking but what was different is that its sheer magical energy dwarfed the entire army combined. One thing was clear, it should definitely be running instead if walking, was it taking its time? No, it was injured and Artria was a hundred percent sure of that theory she made up.

Artria looked at the mage girl, it's like the girl failed at some important test she had to pass. Her face was won over by gravity since her facial muscles were hanging and formed a sad face.

(might as well promote her to s rank if she could actually deal that type of damage...) Artria thought

She wanted to go deal with the walking threat but it was too late, friendly fire in demons didn't matter, kill one and five will replace it but for humans, accidental killing is too much. The demons were dangerously close, even if the majority of them died due to burning, the remaining demons were still a huge threat plus the numbers were still massive.

"they're coming! Archers! Mages!" one of the generals shouted through a magic device that made his voice clear even at a far away distance
