(plus 4? Really?! Even my summons.... )
Ferris sat on the hard rock, he held a stack that was even larger then a new deck of playing cards but what he was holding wasn't any ordinary playing cards, oh no. If anyone with an actual life were to see it, they would most likely know what it is. That familiar color scheme, that familiar logo, and that very familiar three words, the cards that broke your life, the cards that broke your friendship, and that disgusting game who has more betrayals than the entirety of game of thrones. Yes, the casual game of U.N.O, I've played it, you played it, and don't ask why U.N.O is on a completely fictional world.
Absolutely dreaded he was, he baught atleast three complete decks of uno from the system's store, actually he was surprised that a common game from his past life was even purchasable in the store. Every summon and Ferris competed, as the final card was placed, the summon raised it's hand instead of saying uno since they can't talk.
"I don't deserve this" he mumbled as he dropped his massive collection of cards forming a small puddle of cards
"haah~...clean these up please"
As the cards were being collected one by one by the summons, Ferris walked towards the mine entrance/exit. Obviously with the outside being bright, it was morning. For him it was certainly an experience, sleeping at the place of your death gave him quite the chills and yet it gave him a form of enlightment.
His back screamed in sheer agony from the hard rock he slept at, escaping away from the capital wasn't flaoting around his head instead he wanted to go back. Even if you were accompanied with summons that seem to be intelligent enough to play U.N.O the need for socializing is required, even introverts need them but just less than others. Even if the summons can answer yes or no, they can't explain why they are suddenly intelligent so Ferris had to hold off that question. For now of course, getting his back fixed by a soft cushion was top priority.
(my back... I'm not sure if I can run without hurting my back, this I ganna be a long walk)

"nnnngggghhh! There!" Amelia shouted
"quiet kids" her mother ordered
A basement even deeper than the dungeon below the castle, filled with everything you need from a massive pool and an entire library that would take at least five years to finish reading all nonstop with no breaks. It was sure a luxury, at the depth heat would certainly be a problem but it wasn't. Everyroom in that basement was purified and cooled to the perfect temperature, it felt no different than it is at the surface.
"s-sis, why are we playing a childrens game..." Charlotte exclaimed as she was forced to play along too
"for nostalgia of course" Amelia answered as her chest puffed in confidence
"..."
Another familiar game but a bit more friendly than U.N.O, it was intense, just touching it could make you sweat buckets, let alone actually pulling it off successfully. Just one very very very soft gust of wind could collapse it and that wasn't a typo. You know this game as Jenga, the game that could pull off the most intense clutches more than a clutch game in call of duty.
Charlotte, Amelia, Dorothy and even Parma played too. Just a casual game, no disgusting betrayals like U.N.O, it may seems kinda peaceful at the basement below but just a few hundreds of meters above them is a massive army praparing for battle.
"Amelia... are you feeling well?" Charlotte asked as if she wanted to make sure of something.
"this is the tenth time you've asked me, the only thing I'm feeling is a slight headache from hearing the same thing over and over again" she replied
It's obvious that she was annoyed judging by her tone, Charlotte couldn't hold herself back, as a sister it's her duty to protect. As for Parma who was quietly watching, she had quite the show to watch and Dorothy who was just casually playing was a bit out of sync with the others.

The basement was designed to be protected, even if an earthquake even if it's at magnitude nine it would only suffer damages than can be fixed within a few days but to think the apartment quaked for a while made the inhabitants mind wonder what was happening at the surface.
"do you think they'll reach us?" Dorothy asked
"I don't know"

(! What was that!)
For a moment his body felt like something was wrong, like animals going insane before a massive earthquake occurs. He saw it clearly up the skies, with his sense stat he could see it out in the open. A giant explosion of pure energy and mana, out in the air floating everywhere as if they were in the vacuum of space.
(that's tons of mana... A giant spell? No that's to big to be a simple spell, it looks like it's near the capital.. I shou-
"hey!" someone shouted
Oh what now? Ferris thought. Who in the right mind other than a Ferris would go here when everyone in the capital moved out. Maybe some random old guy who lives in the forest inside a wooden cabin? No that's only in horrer movies, besides it's day time and what kind of old man has a female voice.
(!)
He was sure that the voice came from behind him, maybe a few meters behind but he didn't expect this. An object can be felt even if it doesn't touch your body, it's just your mind playing tricks on you. The same thing was happening to Ferris, his back neck started to feel ticklish as if a spider was on it.
A thin and sharp dagger was exactly an inch apart from his neck, Instinctively he raised his hand as a sign of surrender, turning back to try and disarm the dagger could lead to his head falling of the ground, anything he'd do as a sign of resistance could lead to death. Yes, the girl who had him in check like in chess had a weak magical presence and Ferris could simply kill her in two second but at the same time as his sense stat telling him that the girl was clearly weaker, his body and guts kept repeatedly shouting at him saying "no no no your ganna die a hundred percent so don't you dare try anything stupid".
