This Law was so difficult? It didn't feel like it at all! Was 3500 even difficult? Probably not, because it felt very easy to master! I was currently at 56% of the Second Step! My eyes flashed with an idea. If it was difficult, then... "System, what is the Rank Difficulty of my Law?"
**DING!**
[The Current Difficulty of your Law is High God, mainly because no one records history. However, this makes the damage much higher and the cost lower.]
"HIGH GOD!? THIS IS INSANE!" My jaw dropped, not expecting at all the fact that it was a High God-tier Law! If I make a Sect and write down all the History of Earth, I could have an army of High God level people on my side! I could conquer-
**DING!**
[That is impossible. By writing down history, you are thus recording and lowering its value and power.]
Well, way to crush my hopes. Stupid System. Whatever, having this system helped in the long run. I began pondering again, hoping to raise my Law.
**DING!**
[Law: Ancient Second Step has reached 25%. Host can now learn Second Law and become King, skipping Lord Rank.]
A Second Law? Well, this is a bit surprising. By skipping Lord rank, and not fully mastering my first law, I can get another one. "System, show me my stats currently," I spoke this fluently, as If I'd said it a million and three times.
**DING!**
[Xiang Ye's Stats]
[Rank: Specialist]
[Mystic Power: 2 Laws MAX]
[Phsyical Power: 5.8 **Scholar (current-world standard)]
[Mystic Energy*: 620]
[Laws: Ancient(25%) Second Step]
-- changing the mystic power to mystic energy to avoid confusion of the two stats :)
Hmm? I was... as strong as a regular scholar here? This planet is insane. I sighed, before thinking. It said I could later combine Laws to make a 'Verdict,' and the only way to advance was to have multiple of them. So, I would need a matching Law to Ancient... Primordial? No, it's to General. It would take a long time to progress. How about... something like Scriptures? Runes, maybe? System, would something like Scriptures or Runes be able to match my current Law?
**DING!**
[Xiang Ye is advised to keep thinking about different Laws.]
"Wha- Hey! Don't make me sound stupid!" I shouted in indignation, a tick appearing on my forehead from mock anger. I turned around, only to hear shouting. "Hmm?" I looked towards the direction, not seeing anything. Maybe it was because I am in a Forest? Nah, that can't be it. I laughed at my joke. A massive roar came from the direction I was facing, and I gasped. Just a little, though. I wasn't scared at all. Nope.
I frowned, my face becoming serious. I began mad-dashing toward the supposed Beast. "If it's too strong, I'll leave whoever shouted. Otherwise, I will kill it for intruding... well, my territory I guess." I spoke softly, the wind easily covering it from any eavesdroppers if there were any at all.
I skidded to a halt in shock. In front of me laid a large, black and shiny horse seeming to be made of obsidian. My attention shifted to the young lady in front of it, and my jaw dropped. I knew who this was! She had been from a light novel I'd read on Earth, matching the description exactly! However, that wasn't what intrigued me most. In the story, she'd been extremely powerful, so how had she gotten knocked out to this 'Obsidian Horse?'
Now was not the time to care. If she died by this, I would blame myself for years, ruining such a good novel like this would be a shame. I spread my leg, crouching as I slammed my palm unto the ground.
"Cronos of Tartarus, SUMMON!"
A massive, goliath of minerals and dirt sprung from its horizontal position, easily dwarfing the probably 18-meter tall horse. I moved back and noticed it follow my actions, and I was slightly surprised. However, now wasn't the time. You don't just enter a fight, summon a Titan from Greek mythology, and then start monologuing. I raised my fist high, marveling as the Titan did the same.
I thrusted my fist at a slight angle, making sure it would hit the beast. The Horse whinnied and began moving at incredible speeds to try and dodge, but it was too late by the time it was out of its stupor. A solid phwact was heard as the beast crumpled under the fist, flying and taking out a large number of trees. My energy drained as I fell to my knees, the massive Titan decomposing into a small hill of rock and dirt. The lady off to the side, now half-naked and somehow still completely covering her sensitive areas, began to flutter her eyes.
I waved and hit the dirt, hard. My face made an impact sound similar to the Titans fist colliding with the Horse. A darkness welcomed me, and words flew into my mind. Mythology, Thor, Centaur, Medusa. Many Roman, Greek, Nordic, Chinese, and Indian names flew into my head one after another. I felt myself on a boat, rowing toward a massive door. I couldn't stop myself, the boat slowly tapping the doors as they groaned and opened slowly. A wave of power entered me, as I blacked out from my Second Law.
I woke up with a start, confused as to the comfortable area I was sitting on. I looked around with blear eyes, seeing I was in a small room with the lady I had saved sitting on a chair sleeping. I realized she must have brought me here, but I did not want to stay where I could get lazy. I needed to get strong. I slid out of the bed like a Ninja, and opened the window while looking back. I sighed and jumped outwards.
I landed on a dirt road, and naruto ran, yes you heard that right, naruto ran towards the Forest closest to here. I ran and ran until I began seeing familiar objects. I blinked.
And then the world exploded.
