After the smoke bomb went off Iskandor dove out the window behind him while causing a chain reaction to spill grease on the stairs causing the girls to slip and fall as they try to run through the house to catch him.
"Might wanna get rid of the grease before this spark reaches you and burns off your clothes." Iskandor states, lighting an oil trail leading to the bottom of the stairs, fortunately the oil and flames in question are harmless, unless you happen to be made of fabric.
"How did this happen?!" Lar exclaims, shocked.
"I don't know..." Hikari states, "I'm not even sure I saw him come in here..."
"Temporary truce until we get him?" Serena asks, pulling the other two away from the oil trail.
"Sure, and thanks for the save." Hikari agrees.
"With all that he did in 15 seconds I'm sure we need to work together, so count me in." Lar states.
"Really, teaming up after we dissolved our teams? I thought you were better than that." Iskandor states from seemingly nowhere.
"It seems we need to, now where are you?" Hikari asks.
"I am everywhere, and nowhere." Iskandor replies, trying not to laugh as he is attached to the ceiling with a facade to hide him. How he got up there is simple, cause a diversion, pretend to run and jump in through a window and climb on the ceiling.
"Damn... how will we beat him if we can't find him?" Serena asks.
"My nose." Hikari replies.
"You are a fox, not a dog!" Lar replies.
"I still got a nose don't I?" she retorts.
As this exchange is taking place Iskandor yanks on a thin string leading to the window he came in, on the other side of the string is a week old fish, the fish flies through the window and barely misses Hikari's face.
"..." The girls are speechless, Iskandor seems to have thought of everything, but in reality this is all he has thus far. Between gathering the materials for the smoke bomb, some oil/grease and a facade to match the ceiling all Iskandor could do in the short amount of time was grab the smelliest fish he could find and barely rig the oil spill.
"Well... any ideas?" Hikari asks.
"We don't have a basement or a hollow beneath the floorboards, he would likely want to keep an eye on us..." Lar mutters.
'Shit, she's on to me' Iskandor thinks, 'she'll realize the ceiling is the best spot to hide and due to my weight I would need to be on the sturdiest part of the ceiling... Or that's what she would expect at least, luckily I loosened a nail so I can do this.' As his inner monologue finishes he pounds a wooden plank that has been loosened using the inner support beams as a makeshift fulcrum causing the board to fall down, nearly onto Lar as Iskandor exits through the window, again.
"Technically that's not destruction of property as a single board fell, caused no damage and can easily be put back, or at least that's how I would call it." Serena states, after being startled by said board.
"So, it looks like we have to play defense due to him going on a heavy offense." Hikari states.
--------------
After 3 days it is clear who has the advantage. On the first night Iskandor cemented Lar's feet together in her sleep (and helped remove said cement after she surrendered). By day 2 Iskandor had many close calls, walking straight through cling-wrap was the worst he got while he put laxatives in Serena's and Hikari's food and drink. Suprisingly Hikari was unaffected while Serena was to stubborn to give up. During that night however, Iskandor thought it would be funny to steal their clothes while they take their baths and showers... He was promptly beat up after that, however Hikari surrendered. Day 3 itself was a draw, with no clear victor from that day alone, Iskandor had a trap backfire and none of Serena's were triggered.
---------------
"Yesterday was a bit bland, other than seeing Iskandor get slapped with whipped cream." Lar stated while observing the last participants negotiate new terms to settle this quickly.
"How about this, we set a course through the forest and whomever makes it through without getting caught, and if both of us make it though whoever trips the least amount of traps win." Iskandor proposed.
"Sounds fair under the assumption that neither of us make the course and whomever makes it is impartial." Serena agrees.
"I'll make it, I shall remain impartial and allow Lar to supervise for confirmation."
"Are we all in agreement?" Iskandor asks. To which everyone nods. Lar and Hikari get to work while Serena stands back for a moment.
"May the best "man" win." Serena says.
"And since I'm the only man I win by default?" Iskandor replies with high levels of snark and earns a punch in the shoulder. "Ow," he states with sarcasm.
"You know what I mean, despite the fact that whomever of us wins the four of us are going on an adventure with you, so this is essentially a matter of pride." Serena states.
"Since at this point it doesn't matter who wins I will allow you to change your wager, so that way it's for more than pride and satisfaction." Iskandor offers.
"Anything?" She asks.
"In reason of course, but yeah, anything." Iskandor states, not knowing the consequences.
"All I would like from you is to accept one simple request from each of us."
"Sure, can't be too bad as long as it's 10 words or less. What will you ask me, or will it he a suprise?"
"It's a suprise." She answers, her cheeks blushing yet Iskandor remains oblivious.
