Suyeon stared at Soojung in disbelief. What nonsense was she spewing? But judging by her looks, she did not strike him to be a liar nor delusional.
"What bald man?" he asked suspiciously.
"I don't know who he is," she admitted. "But he killed you last time. And he's going to kill you again! I'm sure of it!"
"Last time?" Suyeon frowned. "When? I'm still very much alive the last time I checked."
"I meant...in a past life...or…"
She did not know how to explain it. All she knew was that something bad was going to happen and Suyeon was in danger. The bald man would return and he was going to kill someone that night.
"I'll be fine," Suyeon assured her. He tried to sound gentle but his skepticism was evident. "Don't worry. Focus on your performance."
