Yoona was pacing to and fro while Sojin was waiting albeit impatiently. They were at their mansion, waiting for Yoona's mother. Jung Semi had not come home for the past two days and it was beginning to worry them.
"Where is mom?" Yoona asked Sojin. "Why isn't she home? She didn't even call…"
She was crestfallen. Was her mother angry at her for failing the last round? She had sent numerous texts and called her several times but Semi was out of reach. Where is she? Yoona wondered.
"She'll be fine," Sojin consoled her. "Your mother is always very busy."
"But she was supposed to come home!" Yoona exclaimed. "Why isn't she here yet?"
"She'll be here," Sojin assured her. "I'm sure she's just-"
They heard the front door burst open. "What was that?" Yoona frowned.
She walked out of the room, approaching the staircase to see who had arrived downstairs. Sojin followed suit and to their relief, Semi had just entered the house.
"Mom!"
