Sojin was busy overseeing the preparations for Jung Semi's homecoming. She had pranced around the house all morning, pointing out any place which needed cleaning. The mistress of the house liked everything prim and proper. Sojin knew very well that if Semi noticed any imperfection, she would take the wrath out on the household help. The three decades with the Sung family taught her all the mannerisms of the members and Jung Semi was the most difficult one.
"Clean it properly!" Sojin ordered one of the maids. "Make sure it's polished well."
"Yes Miss Lim!" the maid exclaimed, rubbing a vase with a dry cloth. The other household staff were also on alert. The mistress would arrive next week and they were trying their best to clean the huge mansion. A lot of them were rattled by the mass animal grave they had found in the yard and the work created a diversion for them. Sojin was also trying to dive into her work to keep the picture of that horrible grave out of her mind.
