Hayoung froze in his actions. Sunyoung was clutching on to his thigh as if that would be enough to stop him from killing the woman lying in front of them.
"Please do not kill her!" she begged. "Please!"
"Are you seriously begging for the life of the person who was just about to kill you?" he snarled. "Are you insane?"
"I am trying to save your soul!" Sunyoung shot back. "Please stop this!"
Hayoung let out a sarcastic laugh which hauntingly echoed through the silent forest around them.
"It's too late to save my soul," he claimed. "Worry about yours instead! I have a request to fulfill!"
Sunyoung let go of his foot and shielded Yumi who was now unconscious. She was determined to stop him at all costs. Hayoung was shocked by the girl's actions. She was not disgusted or scared by his actions but was instead hellbent on 'saving' his soul. Little did she know that his soul was beyond saving.
