At midnight, Hayoung stepped out of his hut. Sunyoung was fast asleep on another spare bed, unaware of him stealthily sneaking away. He glanced at her every now then before he exited the hut. Quietly walking through the moonless night, he made his way towards the Iksun's house which was across the large field.
Once the door to the hut was shut, Sunyoung scrambled up. She was good at pretending to be still, a trope she picked up while she was at Councilor Ahn's mansion to avoid detection from the councilor's wife and children. She quickly wrapped a shawl around her body and ventured out into the night.
