Sunyoung was awoken by the bright sunlight which crept in through the thatched roof. She got up to see that Hayoung was leaning against the wall, fast asleep. He was probably guarding her all night. Remembering their argument, she felt a little guilty for being so harsh on him.
She decided to wash up before he woke up so that they could start their journey again. She went out of the shack and began to walk towards the forest nearby where they had passed a small stream on their way.
Sunyoung walked through the tall trees, following the sound of the stream until she reached the stream. The rain had cleared up the water, making it sparkle under the sunlight. She stooped down to wash her face and arms. The cool water felt good against her skin and provided a great deal of comfort to her.
Suddenly, she heard the breaking of twigs behind her. Was it Hayoung?
