Soon, it began to rain cats and dogs. The sunny weather turned grim and thunder roared through the clouds and they were getting soaked under the heavy rain. Hayoung led the horse to an abandoned shack nearby while Sunyoung put a shawl over her head to protect herself from the rain.
"In there!" Hayoung yelled over the pitter patter of the rain, pointing towards the shack. He helped Sunyoung get off the horse and they ran towards the shack. Thankfully the roof was thatched and the shack was empty so he tied the horse to a pole before going in after Sunyoung.
They were completely drenched by the rain. The weather outside was really bad and it would not be safe to travel in this state.
"We might have to stop here for a while," he said. "The rain won't stop any time soon."
